   28-50 Marylebone felt very much cafe bar/ braaserie than restaurant as most tables surround a central bar. There are one or two quieter/cosier tables in the corners. The food was good quality, tasty and of a high standard, and we were happy having picked from the set lunch menu. The service was patchy and we didn’t have an obvious server. This is what let it down for me. Having chosen the set lunch menu on booking I was given an a la carte menu and had to ask for the lunch menu. Having asked for a G n T on arrival, it didn’t arrive and I had to ask again for it. I was then served a gin and lemonade! After the initial hiccups, service was pretty smooth and not too rushed. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I would return again as I’m hoping the initial issues were just a blip!

   I really enjoyed seeing old colleagues at 28-50 for lunch. The positives were and in no particular order, we got a great table as requested, it wasnt noisy, the food was to a very high standard. We got things we hadnt ordered, which for me is not a biggie as we did get what we did order. Service could have been a bit more friendly but again it wasnt a big issue as the other positves outweighs the small negatives.

   Great wine list, wonderful food, really funky location. Be sure to make time for shopping after lunch. Lots of cool stores nearby.

   A lovely venue with excellent service, food and wine. The only drawback - for us - are in relation to acoustics, as it is hard to hear in certain areas of the restaurant

    Very bad experience ...second time and as bad as the first time. Will never go back. Avoid if you can, much better options next to it

    Friendly, attentive service by exceptionally nice staff; delicious baked cod in saffron broth accompanied by a very more-ish Gavi di Gavi, and a lively vibe without being raucous - a great discovery, will be back!

    Lovely Sunday dinner at 28-50 Marylebone. Of course, the sommelier was very knowledgeable and the Coravin wine selection was great, and at an ok price given the quality on offer. And then food was really good and original, for instance the mushroom starter was simply delicious! Overall recommended!

    Wonderful food - great choice of sharing dishes and the brunch dishes i saw others have also looked fantastic. Our waiter made us feel so welcome and we were looked after beautifully throughout. also a really nice choice of bar seats, high tables or normal tables for what suits you best for your occasion. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

    I arrived on Christmas Day and had to wait outside for 45 min in spite of reservations. Wines are great, foods so and so.

    Excellent. Clearly it’s a busy time of the year but the staff were all amazing in terms of service - thank you. Delicious food (I had the lamb - perfectly cooked), and very impressive wine list (looking forward to take a look at those new additions especially from Piemonte and the southern Rhone and Languedoc.     We had a sharing charcuterie board and a few glasses of wine. I arrived after my friend had been seated at the booked table. We sat down to catch up but one waitress kept coming up to the table and asking for my order right after I’d sat down. I requested a few minutes to look through the various menus but I was not given much time before she came back again to ask for my order. The waitress came to our table in 2 minute intervals around 4 times in the first 10 minutes of arriving—which was too frequent and inconvenient. She would come mid conversation and interrupt us to pour water that was already at the table or ask for our order. It put pressure on us to break conversation and have to order in that moment. I would’ve preferred her waiting until we looked ready to order.

    Very warm welcome. As it was a little bit too noisy for us, Sam our wonderful waiter arranged our table in a corner in a less noisy area. He made good suggestions regarding the menu. Food was very good and the service very quick. It was much appreciated as it was already quite late. We will come back for sure after our next concert at the Wigmore hall just nearby.
