Abe and Louie's Boston
Great service, great food, great ambiance. Kevin was our server - Abe & Louie’s never disappoints. Lobster Mac & Cheese is gold
Cozy and great service, classic Boston
We just love going to abe and louies. Have not had a bar experience yet and every waiter we've had has gone above and beyond to accommodate or make suggestions if asked. Will definitely be coming back soon.
Thank you! Dinner at Abe and Louie's was great fun.
Food was great but disappointed in the bread basket. They no longer serve the delicious rolls. Also no onion strings, something I would always order. Bring them back!!!
Food on (3) of the (8) filets we ordered were overcooked. We asked for medium rear and they were well done.
Bobby D was great. He made our lunch a very enjoyable time. His Irish jokes were fun to hear.
Great brunch with the family celebrating a special occasion.
Best steakhouse in Boston. Perfect for a birthday. A few too many Chads but that's unavoidable in New England.
We had a fun time celebrating my son's birthday at Abe and Louie's. Having valet parking is awesome - makes it so much easier. Food and service was great - we had Bobby D. as a waiter and he was wonderful!
It is really noisy in the restaurant but very festive too so it didn't bother me as much as it usually would.
A very enjoyable experience on our 50th anniversary. Everything was perfect. Thank you all for the great evening.
I was disappointed with the service, ambience and food. The food was "ok" high-end steak house fare, but not up to the standards of other high-end steak houses, and not nearly as good as my first visit to the restaurant 15 months ago. The restaurant was also overcrowded and very noisy - surprisingly so given our relatively early (6:30) reservation. And to make matters worse, we were seated next to a table of three very loud men, one of whom was dropping f-bombs every other word, it seems. I would not go back and instead would choose of their competitors - Capital Grille, Grill 23 or Ruth's Chris - if I wanted a better steak house experience.
A wonderful restaurant with knowedlgable, helpful staff. I ordered the 9oz glass of the house Pino Nior, French onion soup, and the porterhouse for two. Outstanding.
Celebration of award received
We had a wonderful evening!!! The food, the crowd the value were excellent!
Abe is a Boston staple and possibly one of the best steakhouses in the Northeast.
Simply the best steak dinner I ever had. Outstanding service from Bobby D.
Excellent food and service. Very appropriate setting/surroundings. Expensive but reasonable value for the money.
Excellent restaurant, can't wait to go back! Went with a group of family members for my son's 18th birthday and we were all extremely satisfied!
Abe and Louie’s is an absolute favorite. Expensive, yes, but so worth it. Service is always great, and starting our dinner at the bar was great fun. Drinks and a couple of appetizers were excellent. Andrew made it fun too.
Love that we were treated to the best chocolate cake ever!
While the brunch food at Abe & Louie's remains strong, it is a MAJOR shame they have gotten rid of the baked buns with cinnamon & brown sugar. What they've replaced it with is so ho-hum and boring. If you're not interested in having beef, I'd say to somewhere else for brunch!
We arrived early and they sat us right away! We were amazed on how perfectly the steaks were cooked ! Dinner is expensive but worth it! Very pleased with the service .
Confident waitress but forgot to tell us about soup and appetizer specials.
Tables too close together.
This was our second visit to Abe & Louie’s. Food was outstanding from appetizer (bacon), salad (Caesar) to dessert the food was excellent! We were seated upstairs which was good (quieter). Our server seemed overworked but overall we had a great meal and a great time.
Great night out made better with great staff our waitress was awesome steak was cooked perfectly
One of the best places in Boston to enjoy a steak. Not to be missed!!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner here. The wait staff was very accommodating in helping us to get just the right cocktail. The filet mignon and delmomico were delicious. The pork chop had a good flavor but was a bit dry. The best part of the meal, besides the attentive and responsive service was the caramel bread pudding. We had to get an order of it to go! We’ll be back again and again.
We sat at the bar for dinner. It is never disappointing! Michelle, Jeff, and Matt are the best bartenders. They always are so nice, very attentive, and are great to talk to.
Little disappointed in some changes....Caesar salad didn’t need to change to huge stalks of romaine that need to be cut up. Kids were disappointed that the bread had changed, it was such a wonderful tradition, the fresh baked. Swordfish portion was too small for the price. Steaks were great as always
Excellent and legendary Boston steak place. We enjoyed it. Both had filet which was perfect
It's a great place. The steaks are fantastic. The service is very good. Unfortunately, the noisy restaurant trend seems to be working its way up to the higher priced restaurants too. I wish it were more quiet and people enjoyed participating in a more refined dining atmosphere.
Would have preferred to be downstairs, but it was still a great meal.
This place is always my favorite. Love the food and the friendly host just made you feel you want to go back.
I am a tough scorer; this review probably should be a solid five stars but I think that is perfection. Our visit exceeded expectations from start to finish from our greeting by the host to the door being held by the parking valet when we departed. Anthony, our server, was extremely attentive but not overbearing or pesky; just right and we wanted for nothing. My bone in rib eye was grilled to perfection as was my wife's salmon. Busy steakhouse with busy after work corporate crowd of diners. Busy but not chaotic. Loud but not noisy. This was out second visit and we will likely return whenever we visit Boston.
Professional waiter, excellent food!
I made a reservation because I thought they did restaurant week. Turns out they don’t, but it’s what led us here so no complaints! We had a great experience! My water glass was always full and our food was delicious! The corn chowder was the best I ever had.
Abe and Louie’s -always a favorite!! Love streak dinners, brunch , and/or French onion soup at the bar. You can’t go wrong!!
Been coming here since I was little and still to this day continues to be one of my all-time favorites.
Its perfect... every time
From the staff, food, ambiance this place continuously sets themselves apart
