   The service was awesome! The pasta part of the veal and chicken parmigiana was very good, however the chicken and veal were both over done and dry, which is strange cause the first time I was the I had the chicken parmigiana and it was awesome.

   Valentine’s Day, We had a great dinner but the cheese cake at dinner was hard as a rock. Service was good from the male that helped us however he only came once to ask if we wanted more drinks. We would have ordered more. The female server was drinking a beer while on shift so that was also interesting. Overall I don’t think we would return but the food was good.

   The service was really really bad. The guy was really rude gave us cold bread. Also we made reservations before and when we went there they said it’s closed. Really unprofessional

   Great food but incredibly understaffed. One waitress for the whole restaurant. She ran all night and did the best she could but poor lady couldn't keep up. Good food and great value though.

    Average looking upon entry with what looked like "regulars" inside. Food was surprisingly pretty good considering it didn't seem like upper class Italian. Bread was warm and minestrone soup was awesome. Service was good and they even gave us a dessert wine on the house. All in all pretty good experience

    Food was excellent, great flavor and spice, could use a few more choices on the menu. Service very friendly, but when a bigger party came in, the one server was very tied up. Would recommend Allegro to my friends.

    Service was excellent tonight and the pasta was great. 4 of us all enjoyed our meals. It's a nice little restaurant in a charming little part of the city. Not my first meal here but my first review.. Give this place a chance. I know I'll be back

    My cousins and I do lunch about three times a year and this weekend was it. We LOVED the food and ambiance! The restaurant wasn't too busy for a Saturday lunchtime which was odd but so nice. We ate, chatted, ate more and had a wonderful time. Waiters were very good, prompt service and courteous. The food was delicious! I had veal parmigiana and my word, lovely!! Seafood linguine, my lunch mate almost licked the plate! I highly recommend this restaurant. We will return!!

    Good food and good service. Generous portions,good Italian food and nice staff. Television could have been turned off and the few people watching could have been quieter (I think they either own it or are regulars) but would recommend

    I'm a bit bewildered. Open Table accepted my reservation, but when I got to the restaurant they informed me that they don't take reservations at lunch time. We wound up sitting at the bar, which was fine. The meal was ok. My lasagna wasn't heated all the way through, which was a bit annoying.

    Service was excellent and all three of our meals plus the appetizer were very good. I would recommend the House Red. It was reasonably priced but still a very good wine. The atmosphere is bright but also cozy - altogether a very pleasant restaurant in which to dine.

    Enjoyed a very quiet evening at this little gem of a restaurant. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, we were pleasantly surprised when our table was given a complimentary appetizer of garlicy prawns. Would definitely return for another meal and also highly recommend to friends and family.

    Two thumbs up👍👍. We tried many different starters. Minestrone soup, tiger prawns, Caesar salad, calamari...all were very tasty. Entrees ( veal, cannelloni, lasagna, penne, ) were as various, and again, delicious. This restaurant offers excellent meals, and at great value. Service was awesome. A true gem.

    I know and like Allegro at 100 Ave and 109 St. This was my first time at new Little Italy location. The food and wine were excellent; very friendly staff helped us select dishes, including items not on menu. Service likewise excellent. A great restaurant in a great neighbourhood. Highly recommended. Street parking only but we found a spot nearby.

    As a family of eight adults,we were very pleased and pleasantly surprised with our entire experience. We were looking for a square table setting and this Allegro location was more than accommodating. The food, decor and ambiance was perfect for us and we will certainly return.

    First time there. Pleasantly surprised. The couple on duty was very knowledgeable and very attentive. The food was excellent and the wine list very decent. I just wish they could carry a larger menu. It was quiet that evening which I don't understand. I will go there again. It was very italian food.

    Both my Wife's & My food had parts that were cold. Also, the chicken pieces that were with the Pasta Special were awful tasting on top of being only partially warm. We've dined at Allergro downtown many times and it was always excellent.

    Super quaint little place in Edmontons Little Italy! Found parking on street easily. Service was good. We went early and had a couple drinks. This place needs to advertise more because it was so quiet and seemed to just have regulars there as the staff knew people by name. I dine out allot and thought this place was fantastic. Everything we got was amazing! I hope more people check this place out! I will definitely be back.

    Went for dinner on Valentine's Day. Food was very good, service was mediocre as the restaurant wasn't staffed properly. Caesar salad was very good. Calamari was different but good. Mains were great. Prices were average, pretty good for quality.

    Friendly, but less than good service this time. Missed bringing orders out more than once while we waited hour and a half for pasta dishes. We are long time satisfied customers of Allegros, so hopefully this less than great experience was a one off. Food was tasty, as usual.

    We've been waiting for Allegro Little Italy to open and were delighted to try it on Friday night. The restaurant itself is lovely. The tables are a little more spread out than some of the other Allegro restaurants, which was really a treat. I had the penne with Italian sausage and my companion had the fruitti di mare and both were truly excellent! I can see Allegro Little Italy quiclky becoming one of our regular haunts and our favourite Italian restaurant.

    Allegro downtown has always been one of my favourite restaurants so I was anxious to try out their latest venue. Went with a group of friends at my recommendation. The service was very slow from the start and the waitress forgot some simple requests like more water etc. It was about an hour and a half before our meals were delivered to the table and most of us were very hungry and becoming impatient. The food was good when it finally did arrive. While we waited for our meals the waitress offered more bread which we gratefully accepted, however she forgot to bring it! Also one of the orders was ncorrect but we decided to let it go as we had waited far too long. After we were finished our meals we waited a while but then had to search out our server to obtain our bill. I would say that the restaurant would be off to a much better start if the service improved.

    This was our first time dining at this location, although we have been to the other two Allegro locations in Edmonton. Each seems to be a little bit different from the others. This new location in Little Italy has bright modern clean decor and is very pleasant inside. The food was good, but not great. I think there are still a few kinks to be worked out. My sons pasta with smoked salmon and sausage was delicious tasting, but the food on the plate was not uniformly warm. Pasta and vegetables were lukewarm at best, although the meats were hot. My spouse had the cannelloni which was good. I had one of the veal dishes which was okay, but nothing special. We would give it a try again, as the menu is interestingand the space and service were very pleasant.
