Arta restaurant

What a hidden gem! The ambiance was attractive and easy to talk in. The service was spectacular. The food was amazing. We had the scallop and shrimp risotto and a bone in filet for dinner. Our starters were a avacodo and beat salad and shrimp cocktail that were the size of our thumbs. Very delicious and happy we made the drive!

The restaurant is beautiful with lovely piano music and tables set well apart. However, the service was extremely slow. We had a 7:30 reservation and were not finished with our meal until 10:30. The prices are also much higher than other good Italian restaurants. Our bill for four people was $308 without the %20 tip.
The drive from 287 to the restaurant was quite windy and dark. I don't think we will be coming back.

Another great evening, Highlight of the night Dover sole done table side and the bone in filet mignon was perfectly cooked, paired with great wine selection from there wine list by the glass, highly recommended for date or any occasion.

Great food and Service is the best

We stumbled upon Arta Restaurant purely by accident! I was looking for a restaurant half way between Vernon and Ramsey and my sister and I found Arta! Smack dab in the middle! We were greeted by very friendly people, ate the most delicious lunch, and were taken care of by a very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient server! My experience was so good I brought my husband last night and we both had the best experience ever! We will go back for sure!!!

This restaurant is equal to, if not better than a 5 star restaurant in NYC, it is a bit pricey, but for a special occasion it is top notch,

A perfect NYE dinner with the family.

As always we had a fabulous time at Arta. Food, service and atmosphere were second to none.

Once again Arta does not disappoint. All around great restaurant. Wish they were in Ridgewood or Ramsey though. Their location does not do justice to their excellence.

We decided to try it and we were amazed. The quality of the food was exceptional! We had calamari for an appetizer. Then
We had steak and veal meatballs with pasta for our entrees. We were really too full but decided to have the chocolate dessert and coffee. Pure heaven.
We will return!

Arugula and artichoke salad pleasing and dressed superbly.
Chilean Sea Bass was beautiful and served with Thai-ginger sauce and sliced radishes and pea pods. Delicious.
Grilled King Salmon over risotto with asparagus spears and carrots was wonderful.
Service is enthusiastic and proper.
Coconut cake for dessert with cappuccinos was a fitting finish.
A great meal !!!! Don’t miss it on your regular rotation of restaurants.

We hosted a client Holiday Dinner and expected an outstanding evening and Arta came through however its a shame that the staff is noticeably up-selling constantly. While the food and ambiance was superb the service needs to be reviewed and scaled back a notch. We were constantly being asked for refreshed drinks and if we needed another bottle of sparking water or wine. Lastly it was too obvious that the staff is trained to simply promote the most expensive items on the menu.

My husband and I dined to celebrate a birthday. We were welcomed immediately, seated quickly (near the warm fireplace on a cold night), and received excellent attention all night (glasses re-filled, etc). The raw crab/shrimp appetizer was fresh, cold and delicious. My husband ordered octopus but when escargot was brought in error, he was told to enjoy them while the replacement dish was prepared and raved about their taste and preparation. The halibut and pounded pork dinners were delicious and good sized portions. The chocolate lava cake was not as dense a cake as some I've had, but was delicious. We are looking forward to returning again sometime this season.

It was my first time at Atra and we had a wonderful time. Our waitress, Sasha was extremely professional, yet very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating to our special requests. The dessert, crepes, were a show by itself. I can imagine myself ordering two of the deserts and skip dinner (hahaha).
The presentation of the food is superb. Service altogether by everyone, was fantastic. The taste .... could be a little better.
All in all, ATRA is a must! The ambiance is priceless.

Service is always great and friendly. Food presentation was sensational. King crab legs were a little off but the salmon and seafood pasta were excellent.

Birthday celebration was very nice but surprised the celebrants dessert was not comped.

Best Restaurant in the area

This is a very special place. If you haven’t been, get there! The food is outstanding, right up there with the top ny restaurants. Fresh, top quality ingredients and Romeo will prepare anything you like! The service staff is attentive, wanting to make your experience a memorable one. Can’t say enough, outstanding wines or cocktails. It is a gem of a find!

We went to Arta with another couple who had never been there before and we all loved the entire evening. Sasha is so friendly and everyone on staff is nice and helpful and welcoming. The food was out of this world - not one of us left a morsel on our plates. We highly recommend Arta to everyone we talk to who is looking for a lovely dining experience.

The food and service at Arta is always wonderful, and this meal was no different. The Spiced Pumpkin Bisque, an obvious seasonal special, was exceptional.

Every time I go to Arta...the food is always great. The entire staff makes the experience so inviting that you want to come back over and over. Everything is done with a personal touch.

Arta has seriously raised its game over the last couple years.
The menu some years back was boring with an occasional better special. Today's menu has significantly changed, offeriny much more imaginative choices with unquestionably high quality.
The room and bar have been upgraded and are beautifully yet simply decorated
The staff are also an upgrade, quite professional and pleasant
The one excellent standard over the years remains the host, Romeo.
Prices are high for the area and I wish a list of specials with prices were presented instead of just a recitation, a pet peeve I have with many restaurants
