Award winning Chef Carlo Cavallo’s upscale gastropub concept, B&V Whiskey Bar & Grille is located in the Historic Sonoma Creamery building across the street from the Old Mission in the Sonoma Plaza. We are Sonoma Plaza's only brew pub, whiskey bar. B&V's menu format is wine country inspired with farm to table elements, Italian and French influences, and good old fashion steak house. Chef Carlo Cavallo has won best beef in America, and been on Food Networks Guy Fieri show.

Be Sure to taste the wine before ordering. Some of the wine by the glass is very bad. For being in the wine country it is sad they cannot do better. They will offer you a second glass but it will be the same.

Perfect place after a long day of wine tasting. The hostess and waitress were so welcoming and friendly. Food was like true comfort food. We enjoyed the Shrimp Risotto and classic burger.

This was such a nice bar in the square of Sonoma. The bartender had our drinks terrific. Our server was wonderful. I think he was from Nepal. Our homemade pasta was delicious. The soup was very flavorful and our homemade dessert was excellent. What a fun night my friends and I had there.

Super casual restaurant. We had a hard time finding the steak or the whiskey. The restaurant is not a gastro pub or a steak house. It’s nothing like represented. The food was okay and the people were the best part. If you are looking for a casual lunch scene with decent food this is your place. Just not a dinner place with any ambiance.

Very nice meal out on the sidewalk. I prefer outdoor seating, as indoors was hot/stuffy that evening. But the constant traffic in the sidewalk next to our table was a problem.

What a fun restaurant and bar. The food is excellent and our waiter was superb!!! The Ahi Poke Martini was a winner BIG time with my grandson. it is a bar so the noise level can get pretty animated; however, it is worth a visit to what used to be an old creamery back in the day.

A friend’s and my second visit here cemented our original first favorable impression. She, feeling less than 100%, can find something appealing on the menu, especially among GF options. I really like the poke martini offering. Ambience is classic old comfort. We have had the same wonderful waiter, Ty, or was it Dy, both times. He can make your day better!
