DELICIOUS FOOD!! Thank you! The service was nice, the atmosphere so beautiful! We went for a Valentine's date and the table was cozy! Our dinners were amazing!
While the service was good, the food was very average. Americanized Italian, I would not call it really authentic. We opted out of dessert after mediocre appetizers and main dishes, we thought it was not worth it to add extra calories. It was fine, just not really great. We would not return.
All around great place. Can't wait to go back!
I was very let down by the food. The saltimbocca came out smothered in soggy spinach. The pasta was undercooked and the dessert portion was incredibly small and sloppy. I had high hopes for the restaurant but the only bright spot was the service.
Great Italian restaurant, close to thr Kimmel Center and other performance centers such as the Acadamy of Music Make a reservation since it is very busy on weekends.
The staff was very scattered. They seemed disorganized, rude, and unprofessional. We even saw a bug crawl up the wall and they brushed off the situation just saying they were sorry but that there was construction next door. The young man who sat us was very rude and did not seem like he wanted to be there. The food was pretty decent, but nothing to write home about. Regardless, I don't think I'd come again for a little bit.
The food was very good, however, it wasn't exceptional. I would certainly go back again.
I would definitely recommend Bellini Grill. The food was very good and our waiter (don't remember his name, but he was #9) was excellent. Also, walking distance to the theaters which is a plus.
We told the server when we arrived at 5:30 that we had 7:30 theater tickets. After numerous apologizes/excuses - food finally arrived at 6:50. It was a shame that the food was good and probably tasted even better if we did not need to rush !!
We LOVE Bellini! We have been dining here since the restaurant first opened in 2001, and have watched it evolve over the years. A lovely menu with a wide range of excellent entrees that are beautifully presented and served by a caring staff. A great choice for pre-theater dining, but a wonderful experience at any time.
This place exceeded our expectations. We came for dinner before a show at the Kimmel Center. Our host, Michael, was great and very patient. Made us feel at home and explained the specials thoroughly. Will definitely be back to try dessert!
Very personalized service. Food was terrific. On a day with snow squalls outside, the drinKS and service were most appreciated coupled with a great lamb dish. Always treated well here.
Service was extremely slow. The bill contained several errors. I called and emailed the restaurant to tell them but have not yet heard back from them.
Food and service was really good.
Only down side, tables so close together you could not move without bumping into other guests or wait staff
The wait staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious as always. We've dinner here many times and this time brought 6 friends who all loved the food.
Dinner was great and service was on point, but even though we had reservations they still weren’t able to accommodate us on time. We waited at least 30 minutes to get to our table. All staff was working really hard to do their best at full capacity.
Rude server and food was average.
Started off bad when we had a 6:30 reservation but we were not seated until after 7. The host was rude and never apologized. We sat at the bar to wait for a table. Bar tenders were the only good thing about the night! Then it took 15 minutes to have our water glasses filled. We were there for restaurant week and were excited about the menu options. It was three courses: salad, second course, entree. It was a rip off because the second course was the pasta side dish and the third course was the meat/main dish. Basically they just split up one meal into two courses. The food was also not good. It was loud and tightly packed. Would not recommend.
Great food, great atmosphere and very friendly staff
The service was excellent. Waiter and other service staff were attentive but not intrusive. Very friendly and helpful. The food was beautiful in presentation and delicious in taste. Portion size was very nice - a substantial serving but not too much to eat in one meal. The atmosphere was very friendly and lively, and the sound level was good - we could hear each other talk but we could not hear other people's conversations. Overall and wonderful dining experience. We will be back
Food was mediocre. Service started out great and ended horribly. We were asked to leave because they had a larger party coming in and needed the space. The party stood behind us waiting, each of them sitting as we each got up. The manager/owner came over very loudly and said thanks for coming, bye bye! I will never go back and I wish I would’ve read the reviews before hand as there were others that had the same experience!
This is the second time we ate there. Both times we watched the owner greet patrons (many appeared to be first timers) enthusiastically. He said nothing to us. My husband even called him over to mention it. We were there for lunch during restaurant week. We ordered the entire meal at the same time. We waited and waited for our desserts. Finally the waiter came to apologize and say that the owner was preparing them himself. Waited some more. After another 10 minutes the waiter went and got them. Although I love the food, I won’t be back.
Food was really good and the staff was very nice
It was my 1st visit to the restaurant. We enjoyed it very much. Will come again.
Homemade pasta a good choice; stay away from the heavily breaded chicken parmesan--tough and processed-tasting.
Had a great pre theater dinner from the tasting menu. Every dish was wonderful and service was friendly but still polished. Would definitely return.
My husband and I took a chance during Restaurant Week and I am do glad we did! Everything was perfect. The service, experience, and of course the food! We will definitely be going back!
If not for the excellent service we may have left before the food was finally served correctly. The 3 of us were squashed into a corner literally. The waiter had to move a table to let us leave at the end of our meal. Maybe better to go outside of restaurant week. They weren't quite prepared to handle the amount of customers in attendance for restaurant week. I plan to return to see if the experience is better after restaurant week. It has potential!
We were seated right away, early for our reservation at 8:45/ vs 9pm. Everything was fantastic, only annoyance was towards the end of the night I felt like the food was coming out very slow-waiting a long time between meals. And then we waited an extra 20mins after dessert for our server to give us our check, they seemed preoccupied getting ready for closing and the next day which was frustrating to us.
Overall great food and experience.
Wonderful experience! Authentic Italian food in a charming atmosphere. Dined here for restaurant week and we really enjoyed it.
Love love love their pastas. Would definitely come back!!
My daughter and her father both said it was great and will definitely go back
We love Bellini Grill and almost always go there before theater/orchestra. Very friendly staff and the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable. Try the fried gnocci appetizer...worth the calories!!
Great spot to eat before or after a show. Location was perfect.. short walk from parking and to see show afterwards! Our waiter, Louis was excellent!! Ask for him.
As a first time customer at Bellini my visit was very nice. I was there for restaurant week and the menu was good, reasonable price, and something different. The small environment was just enough to enjoy myself and the amazing art work on the walls, ceiling.
8 dollar bottle of wine upcharged to 50$. Not worth it.
Restaurant week! Our waiter was the best and the food was delicious
Best eggplant I’ve ever had which includes in Italy, New York, the Hill in St Louis and Toronto.
The broccoli cream soup was absolutely amazing(a must try) and the flavor of the tortellini was unmatchable. The cheesecake was the absolute icing on the cake so decadent!
Food was fantastic. Service was terrible. There was a party of 18 so that could’ve been the problem. Confused though because their gratuity is included ... we saw our waiter being very attentive towards them. Wish we had the same
