The server "Pitbull" took good care of my wife and me during dinner for San Valentines
Great service, waitress was nice and patient even with the busy atmosphere the food was good and we didn’t have to wait too long, the drinks were perfect which made our date night great, this is now our favorite place to eat ❤️
We went for Valentine’s Day and everything was perfect. The reservations helped get us a table pretty quick. We got there early and had a drink at the bar, which the drinks were amazing. We ate outside and the weather was perfect. It was quiet and very nice and perfect. We were both glad to get a table outside due to the noise level inside being pretty high. Not sure if that is how it on a normal night but I’m assuming it’s probably lower. The food was PERFECT! And the service was amazing. Had a really fun time there.
I made reservations for Bimni Twist for my anniversary because the online reviews were great and on Bimni Twist website it states that they served fresh seafood never frozen. When we arrived we were told that they were behind 15min. (No big deal)
Our waiter Nicole was absolutely amazing (no complaints with the service)
However, the food is a different story. Let me 1st say the conch fritters were good and I had steak with green beans and French fries which were all good. My wife on the other hand ordered the yellow tail Snapper(my wife was convinced it wasn’t yellow tail) , rice pilaf (drenched in chicken broth) and the mash potatoes that taste like they came out of a box... for the price of the meal there should have been real mash potatoes right?!
We were there with two other couples who agreed. We were very disappointed in the seafood selection to ever go back! Which was the only reason we were there in the 1st place .Our friends who joined us, stated it wasn’t worth the hour drive and for us coming from Boca it wasn’t worth the 30min drive.. We aren’t habitual complainers we actually never send food back. This time we had no choice. So please know this is an honest review. I’m not bashing the restaurant at all just being honest with our experience. I would rate the service an A+ and food a C+
Wonderful Valentine dinner, served was very nice and helpful
We had never eaten here and we will not return. The prices do NOT match the quality of food! We waited too long for dinner and items came out cold! VERY disappointed. Place reminded me of Dennys! Would have preferred to spend $150 elsewhere!
Wait time was long. First two courses rushed. However, food and service was excellent
was not like it use to be, I realize it was Valentine but I had a reservation and still had to wait, was not impressed with that, I thought the whole part of a reservation was just that, you are taken on time. The clams were great but I did not care for the crab cake, too many onions in them and they give me heartburn.
Always fabulous food and service!
I had the shrimp scampi. The sauce was watery with no flavor. Server took it back and didn’t ask if I wanted anything else. No manager was sent over.
One of our all time favorites. It gets calmer after the early bird rush...in the “season” it can be very busy. Recommend making reservations.
The food is always great here. Service is good as well. Two issues though. Reservation is never honored on time, always 20-25 minute wait past your reservation time. Draft Bud Light at $6 is a bit much. Other than that, great dining.
Our food was deliciousl: Scallop, Shrimop with Scampi & Fra Diavolo sauces, spinach Maria and chocolate cake. The service was great even though they were very busy. My only complaint is that we had to wait over 20 minutes to be seated. Out of their control if customers do not get up but we were early for our reservation that I made a month ahead of time. It wa raining and there is a limited space to wait to be seated
Really not any better than other popular, local mid-priced seafood restaurants. Food is merely moderately good if you have never enjoyed fresh fish prepared tastefully and quite disappointing if you have. For this reason, food is greatly overpriced. With a reservation, waited, having to stand in a crowded corner as there are only 4 interior seats for waiting guests and NO available empty bar seats; rather sad as several handicapped patrons and a cocker spaniel (! ) also had to endure the stand for almost 40 minutes before we were seated. Paid $246 for four meals, couple of beers and sodas and frankly was embarrassed for our guests that this place is definitely not all it is cracked up to be and a poor choice on our part.
Early Valentines Day
Excellent food& good service at a reasonable price
We love Bimini Twist ---- wait staff are very well-trained --- food is good --- I tried a new menu item that arrived under-cooked but manager immediately took it back and rectified the problem .
After a game of golf on a Monday night ....Super and Reception five ⭐️
The food & ambiance were exceptional as always!
this place is amazing the food is great friendly been there a lot and just took friends there and they loved it.
We’ve eaten at here many times, never had a bad experience. The only concern is when the hostess sat us we asked to be at different table not near the door. They tried to put us the table behind we were suppose to sit in
Hostess' up front did not know how to talk to people. Would not let parties sit if everyone was not there but then let others sit with missing people.
We were two couples. Everyone ordered something different, and we all enjoyed our choices. Our waitperson was EXCELLENT and it was only her fourth day there. The manager checked on us to make sure we were happy. I made my reservation about two days in advance, which was a good thing as they were full. When we left at about two hours later, there were still people waiting to be seated. It’s always crowded, no matter what time you get there; but it’s worth the wait.
Made a reservation which was in their system, but were not seated for approximately 15 after reserved time and had to take a table right at the front door by the reception desk. Was not thrilled with this. The service was very good as was the food. Hope to go back soon and have a better experience with the reservation time for seating.
We have been to Bimini twist a handful of times and always had a great experience, the manager Paul and his entire team do a great job of making you feel welcome. Service is top notch and we had a multitude of people take care of us, the food was delicious, and we will definitely be back.
Service and food is always good but it is also very noisy
We had a reservation at 5:45 but we didn't get a table until 6:13. Had a baby with us (which is why we made reservation) so it ended up being a stressful wait. I had to complain twice to hostess and only after my second complaint did we get a table. That part was not good. But our waitress (Amber) was fantastic!!! And the food was delicious. The reservation system is flawed but otherwise great. It was packed.
Service was very rushed. Food came fast and courses on top of each other....after just two bites of salad. The entrees arrived. Seafood was significantly over cooked.
Great place to meet friends for dinner. They honor the reservations. We were seated quickly and served well. No rushed. We are indoors but noted there was outside seating as well. Next time!
As always food was very good and noise levels very high. Noise does not keep us from coming. Missed the Hog Snapper not being on the menu.
My favorite restaurant....had crying baby next to us so made it a tad uncomfortable for my mother in law...but service was good..food awesome
Second time here. Just not that good overall. Certainly not up to par with quality seafood restaurants. I know it’s popular and always crowded, but seems more like a tourist destination vs nice dining.
Bimini Twist is my favorite restaurant. The food and the service never fail! My brothers and I had an awesome night.
Market Price items are severely over market price and definitely not worth it. The sea bass is the most expensive entree I've ever eaten because the price was never revealed to me in advance.
Always a pleasant dining experience, never disappointed.
We had a wonderful waiter... so attentive and personable! Everyone was so very nice.
Excellent food, but when it's busy, it's very, very noisy! Maybe they should invest in some noise reduction ceiling panels.
Our anniversary dinner was amazing!
Birthday for a best friend
We had a reservation, but still needed to wait 15 minutes for our table. They had a problem with smoke from the kitchen, so they left open the door near where we were seated and it became quite chilly sitting there (they said they couldn't close it). The noise level was quite substantial. Aside fom that, food and service were both good.
