Overall great price.. however my filet Mignon was cooked med rare suppose to be med my friend steak was my med should have been med rare. So they had to cook him another steak so unfortunately he ate after us.. (sister and I) my sister ordered prime rib she normally orders that at other places but it was lil on thin side for her so probably won’t order that again there no big deal. I have eaten there before a few times normally no issues but over all a great place to eat.. I do recommend it I will go again.. hopefully it was just a one off this time..! :)
Management and Staff are always outstanding! Never a bad experience at Black Angus and always choose this place first before any other steak house.
We had a reservation and had to ask after 6 minutes past our scheduled time where we stood.
Made the reservation and was seated almost as soon as we arrived. Worked great!
Waiter was outstanding….so courteous. We’ll be back.
No comments other than it is getting too expensive to go out to dinner nowadays but I do understand why.
Also, this location seems to have a problem with being able to draft beers because of machinery and it is very disappointing.
Prime Rib rare with creamy horseradish, mushrooms, and grilled onions prepared perfectly.
I will be ordering the same entree the next time.
Nothing could be finer !
This time at Superstition, the experience was pretty good - food wise. We had the Campfire Feast (discounted to $49.88 instead of $66 regular, watch out for your email coupon) containing of 1 starter (I always chose the fabulous Shrimp Cocktail, a $12,99 value alone) two entrees 4 sides and 1 dessert. They also serve molasses bread with your menu. We took the grilled salmon w/ broccoli and mashed potatoes as well as the 12oz NY strip with House Salad, ranch dressing and fries. Everything came out very appealing and cooked to perfection. The sitting situation lacks a bit of privacy when you chose a table instead of a booth. Service was (only) “ok”. Would return anytime, especially when using a coupon, it’s a great value.
The electricity went out halfway through the meal, however the staff did their absolute best to be positive, upbeat and make all the guests feel comfortable
Excellent service accompanied by delicious food.
Never got refills on our drinks. When you're charging $3.50 for a glass of iced tea, you should at least refill them!
There were four of us. Three had the fillet, I had New York strip. All were cooked as ordered. Service was very very good.
Our waiter Phil was just outstanding. Took care of all our needs. Most personable but not overwhelming in conversation. We had a birthday guest that prefers low key attention and Phil whished a happy birthday brought a birthday cookie and kept the time most professional. As we left a dining couple shared they dine often and always ask for Phil. It was a very positive experience. Thank you.
Wonderful meal, high quality meat. Our waiter, Nick, was attentive & made sure we had a good experience. Will definitely go back!
It was OK but we thought it was overpriced. Our 2 steak dinners and a drink would have been over $90 w/o a tip. Fortunately we found an online coupon for 30% off.
Service was fine and atmosphere was pleasant.
Glad we tried it but we doubt if we will return.
There is a better steakhouse restaurant in Queen Creek (this was in Mesa)
got there right after they opened so it wasn't busy. Our Server Phil was over the top. Food was excellent. Highly recommend the Baby back ribs ....
Took advantage of a special coupon offer. The meal and service were excellent. Nick took care of us very professional and friendly.
Always good food with high bscl booths to reduce noise levels.
Our server was attentive and the food was brought out as ordered. Overall we were very satisfied.
We dine at this Black Angus location once every month or two. We’ve always had attentive service & really good food & drinks. One of our party is vegetarian, & there is never a problem for her to order off the “sides” menu. There are many choices there, & that makes it a pleasurable experience for the entire table.
The specials that Black Angus runs are fun for the meat eaters. They are always a good meal & a good deal.
We enjoy this restaurant, even in these times that are difficult for restaurants, they do an excellent job. I know the kitchen staff & servers must be overworked (due to the current hiring difficulties,) but they never let it affect the customers. I give the entire staff high marks for that!
The workers are the most friendly and accommodating. Nick is a great bartender and server. Being greeted by our names every time is special and makes you feel at home. The restaurant is always clean and they do a great job sanitizing the tables too.
We have been going to this restaurant chain for over 40 years, used to be Stewart Anderson's cattle company, recently have been very disappointed that they don't have Drambuie for my rusty nail after dinner drink. Also my wife and daughter-in-law ordered one of their specialty drinks, they said they didn't have the dark rum liquor necessary to make it. This is a very good supper club restaurant, you have to keep up on the booze as well. We spend as much on drinks as on food. We'll look to go elsewhere where they have our drinks we like.
Our waitress was also the bartender. She did a very good job doing both jobs. The kitchen was really busy while we were there. Our entrees were very slow coming out. The waitress was very apologetic for the food taking so long. The food was delicious as usual. This is one of our favorite restaurants. The campfire feast is one of our favorite meals. We are hardly ever disappointed with the food or service. The ambiance of the restaurant is very good. Pretty quiet that you can carry on a conversation.
We had a great experience for our moms 92nd birthday. Our server was awesome and on top of everything the entire evening. Our food was delicious as usual and we will definitely choose Black Angus again whether for a special occasion or just a nice meal out.
Always great food and quiet for a nice relaxing dinner out. The Campfire Feast coupon makes for a great deal too!
A barn with booths masquerading as a restaurant. Exhorbitant prices, poor fair, slip-shod service, watered-down drinks. Avoid this chain. Either grill your own steaks and prepare these simple sides yourself, or just say the hell with it and get a burger and a six. You will be richer, and happier.
Always a win when we go here one of our favorites to rely on
Great food reasonable price. My prime rib was tender and cooked perfectly rare as I requested.
The service was good.
The food wasn’t anything particular.
Portions were relatively small.
Prices went up since last time I was there, so overall not worth the money.
Prime rib tough. Had to send back for another piece. New piece was ok.
We love Black Angus. Steaks are always cooked right and all the employees are always very nice and accommodating .
Service was exceptional. Food wonderful. Great to be out again and enjoyed ourselves and the experience.
Everything was great, except the service was a little slow. That was not a problem as we were not in a rush anyway. Good experience
it was amazing the waiters were really nice and they all really cared about there customers
Went for employee appreciation and had overall good experience. Waiter was fantastic and attentive. Food was okay…had a ribeye and was pretty good but sides were not that great. Drinks were just okay also. Gotta step it up a little to stay competitive with other steak house franchises.
The waitress was great! However, the price for the amount of food received was extremely high. Portions were very limited, broccoli was under cooked and brownish in color. The meat was cooked just as we ordered but not worth the price we paid. Also, stated on reservation we were celebrating a birthday and it did not get a recognized or a complimentary dessert.
Booth was good sized for five adults. One reason we like this restaurant is that it’s quiet inside and we can easily have our conversations. Wait staff made sure to stop by periodically to see that everything was good.
A very enjoyable meal for the money.
Dated old restaurant. Will not seat you if your dint have a reservation. Food was slow steak was dry! Drink was in a glass a bit bigger than a shot glass. Waste of money and will not return
The food and service was great!!!
The food was just okay as I think they forgot to season the menu items.
