This was quite possibly the best meal I’ve ever had. I celebrated a birthday there and they truly made it a special experience. The food was out of this world. The service was so special. I cannot speak highly enough.

I’m not sure what happened to this place. It used to be terrific, fresh, tasty food. This time was a flop. The chips were so greasy you’d think they were wet with water. The margarita came out in a cheap little standard glass with some salt on the rim. It wasn’t every good to look at it drink. The quesadilla I had was delicious. Overall, disappointed.

The Margarita is a easy fix if the size was not to your preference, we recommend you go with a bigger 32oz Margarita called El Jefe. We have dined here twice. Once for our 50th Anniversary and this time for a birthday. Overall it was a good experience. But, this time I noted on the reservation that we were celebrating a Birthday (73). The wait staff did acknowledge the birthday, but I was disappointed that they never offered at least a cupcake with a candle after dinner.

It was an amazing getaway for our anniversary/birthday celebration, despite the casinos going through a weird time right now, they were able to make our trip a great one we will never forget. Loved the food 10/10, customer service was on point, the noise level was perfect to share conversations, & drinks were amazing! Will be back again 🙂

I had an extremely good time here at the brunch on Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious! But my only qualm is that our server sucked. I don’t remember her name, but she was a older lady, tall & blonde w/glasses. We were there for 2 hours and she only checked on us 2x. I had to flag her down every time I needed something and there was no follow up! Like we ran out of watermelon juice for our mimosas & we asked for more so she’s brings out guava & pineapple. I ask where’s the watermelon & she told me they had to see if they had more left. Okay…. so like 20ish minutes go by and still nothing so we just basically finished the flavors we had and THENNN she brings out a watermelon as we are asking for the check. Like lady… c’mon! You could have said it’s coming or something!? idk. she might have been having a bad day but anyways! I would totally come back here again bc the food is THAT good. But a different server experience would be nice! 😊

Fair at best. Drinks took a while to arrive and mine was warm with little ice; you'd think a mexican restaurant would serve a good margarita. We ordered similar meals and one had twice as much rice and beans as the other. The big mistake, however, our entrees were delivered while we were still eating our appetizers. I'll never understand the logic of a server doing that to a diner. Overall the food quality is good so we'll likely continue to eat here. I would recommend Border Grill if asked, but with the caveat you will likely get poor service. It is what it is, but I always expect more.

The Border Grill was great - we sat outside on the patio on a beautiful evening. The food was fresh and flavorful and the service was wonderful. We will definitely be back the next time that we are in Las Vegas.

The grilled cheese sandwich on the children’s menu was Swiss cheese. The menu did not indicate this. My 6 year granddaughter didn’t like the cheese and peeled it off. So her lunch was bread. The wait staff didn’t offer any alternatives and certainly should have taken it off the bill. Not happy. Also there were nice tables by the window but we were seated far away from any view, back by the kitchen.

So disappointed! We have been coming to Boarders Grill for the last 15 years when we come to Vegas. No matter where we’re staying, we always drive to Mandalay just for Boarders Grill. We always get the chicken enchiladas. Last night we flew in and went straight to Boarders Grill, we are so excited to dine here. We ordered the chicken enchiladas, the smoked prime rib tacos and shrimp tacos, instructing the server to take everything off the shrimp tacos as it’s for our son who is 11 and wanted a basic shrimp taco. The enchiladas which we have had numerous times was different. Less creamy, bright green and was served with no sides. The smoked prime rib tacos tasted like they were drenched in liquid smoke, they were awful and the shrimp tacos were served on a tortillas with a bunch of sauces. No good. Bill was $158 and as the waiter cleared our table the food was not touched. We were so disappointed in the changes to the food. Our server was fine, the ambiance was the same but the food was terrible.
