BV Tuscany Italian Restaurant
Enjoyed dinner as always...had potato crusted salmon...partner had lobster fra diablo.. banana flambe for dessert. A perfect dining experience.
Great Italian food. Wonderful service, attentive but not annoying. We really love this restaurant. You will not be disappointed.
BV Tuscany continues to be a favorite of ours. The food is delicious, the staff is warm and welcoming, and we always leave thinking about the next visit we will make!
Great place for wine and dine. The food was very good so was the service. Very nice cozy place.
We dined on Christmas day, as they were open this year. Although there was a special and slightly limited holiday menu, all 4 of us (with varying tastes) were very happy with our meals. Service was outstanding and the entrees were both well prepared and plentiful. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and will continue to keep it as one of our favorite restaurants in Bergen County.
Never disappoints!! Love our martinis, Veal, branzino, fabulous desserts. Great service and lovely ambiance.
BV Tuscany is a charming, authentic restaurant that almost feels like it really was located in Italy. The servers know their stuff and a very professional. The food is high quality, nicely prepared and pretty to look at. It is definitely worth a bit of a drive - - because it is considerably better than most other Italian restaurants we know!
Always a dependable choice. Benny and his staff create a fine dining experience. Food and service are always top notch!
Great service, ambiance, bronzini, strawberries zabaglione! Great from start to finish. Good energy.
Affable staff. Good food. Din in seating section to the left when entering is not pleasant.
BV Tuscany is our favorite restaurant. The food, service and ambiance is wonderful. We have NEVER been disappointed. I have had a couple of private parties there as well. They were so accommodating to all my requests-
A little too pretentious and pricey which I would have accepted if the food had been cooked properly. Hard spaghetti is not the same as al dente, red sauce that is bitter and watery is not Italian. Furthermore more, Parmesan cheese doesn’t melt and stick to the fork. Yet, the restaurant was not empty, thanks largely to locals who are more interested in meeting friends than in the food.
Very comfortable restaurant, friendly service good food. Wonderful neighborhood restaurant.
Great food and better service
Tonight I had the ravioli special and it was delicious...dining partner enjoyed the sea bass entree . Great service...very homey...lovely ambiance.
We hadn't been to BV Tuscany for several years. I can't recall the reason, but in any case, we decided to try it again a few weeks ago. We were very happily surprised by our first visit and so decided to go back a few days ago before an 8 pm show at the Bergen PAC. Again, we were made to feel special and welcomed. Service was lovely: knowledgeable and personable without being obnoxious. The food is prepared with an authentic but delicate touch. We appreciated even the Caesar salad, which was the "real" thing. The specials were creative and described beautifully. Any questions were promptly answered. Some Italian restaurants are heavy handed, especially when it comes to garlic, cheese, and sauces. Both of our meals so far at BV Tuscany were delicious and light enough to be truly enjoyable. I was also happily surprised that unlike most local restaurants in Bergen County, BV Tuscany has a liquor license. My husband doesn't like to drink alcohol, so for me to bring a bottle of wine for one glass usually doesn't make sense. At BV Tuscany, I could enjoy wine by the glass, which is just right for me. It is highly likely that BV Tuscany will be our "go to" restaurant, especially when we want to stay local.
Friendly, informative and entertaining waiter. Dishes all met or exceeded expectations.
Not rushed. Had a very enjoyable catch-up with old friends. Intend to return soon.
Welcoming , friendly , attentive, efficient staff. Great Italian food and excellent wine list. Enjoyable evening.
Veal alla Benny (weird name) was delicious. Portion was ample. Octopus appetizer was perfectly cooked.
Shrimp Napoleon did not work for me although the shrimp was cooked just right.
The lobster fea diavolo could have used more lobster.
Italian cheesecake was delish
All in all it was yummy and well priced.
We took my parents to BV Tuscany for their 62nd wedding anniversary. The staff was knowledgeable, gracious & patient as we tried to decide from among their many wonderful specials! They were attentive & professional, which on top of the truly delicious food, made for a wonderful overall experience. This was our first time here - chose it based on Yelp & other reviews - & we were definitely not disappointed! Top quality ingredients, thoughtfully prepared & served. We will most certainly be back!
Great night, delicious food and wonderful service. The suggested wine was spot on.
We go to BV Tuscany 4-5 times a year and are never disappointed. The service is spot-on and the food is well presented. I had an appetizer (spinach and ricotta dumplings) and the Veal Scallopini Picata as an entree. The veal was so tender and tasty - you could cut it with a butter knife. My wife had tri-colored salad and a special that night of Atlantic Sea Bass. The fish was outstanding! I am not a big fish eater but after taking a taste of hers I was sorry I hadn't ordered it also. Desert was also delicious. The restaurant is a little pricey but the quality and preparation of the food makes it worthwile. I have written several Open Table reviews of BVT in the past and always felt comfortable giving it high grades
Always a great dining experience...from beginning to end. Wonderful martinis...delicious bronzino... excellent lobster fra diablo. ..ending with the famous ricotta cheese cake. Service and ambiance are terrific.
Great Italian. Knowledgeable & Professional staff. Best in the neighborhood
Good food, nice sized menu, really warm decor/atmosphere - but the most distinguishing factor here is the service: aware and attentive without being too much, friendly in a way that adds to the experience, knowledgeable.
Have been there many times before and enjoyed the service and food. This time, they got my order wrong. When the waiter finally brought my food, it was very disappointing. The waiter was obnoxious and condescending. We were 2 couples and no one was thrilled with the food.
I live in Manhattan & whenever I'm visiting family in Bergen County NJ I always suggest BV Tuscany and we always are charmed by the great food, great service, non pretentious ambiance and the great value
From start to finish my experience was fabulous. I introduce this restaurant to my Italian girlfriend which loved the food and especially the service. Klandi was so personable, as well as professional.
Good food along with great service. Benny is the ultimate host.
Love it here! Tonight we enjoyed pasta dishes...my favorite is the spinach ricotta crepe. Fabulous. Also terrific is the strawberries zabaglione for two. Looking forward to return visit soon
Wonderful place, great food, exceptionally friendly and pleasant owner and staff.
Love this restaurant, found on open table. When traveling into the area, my staff always requests to have business dinner here at least one night
Never disappoints. Friends love this place!
We always debate our selections because the favors are thoughtful and subtle. This creative cuisine far outstrips expectations for "a neighborhood gem." I am lucky that this jewel is near my neighborhood.
Always wonderful...ambiance, service, drinks, food. Great martinis...bronzino, veal marsala, ricotta cheese cake.
From Texas. Daughter goes to college in N.J. Food was almost as good as the hospitality, which was off the chart. Great folks - really care about their customers. Ask for Nick - the BEST!!
Food Good, not outstanding. Convenient For a business meal.
Almost everything about BV was 5 star - the service was attentive and excellent, pretty restaurant with comfortable seating, menu choices great and everything we ordered was terrific - loved the lobster fra diavalo special and the chicken with brown sauce and mushrooms. Our only complaint was the bread - thin slices of very mediocre bread. A restaurant of this caliber can do much, much better on the bread front! Come on guys - how about some nice crusty thick slices of warm sourdough?!
As always, BV Tuscany is a treat. The staff is attentive; they greet you as a friend, not merely a customer. I was delighted to introduce my friends to one of my favorite dining spots -- and my friends were delighted by the cuisine and the ambience.
Great food great wine great service. Cant ask for anything more I will be back again and again.
I found this restaurant browsing open table. I couldn’t get over all the positive reviews so had to see for myself. BV Tuscany did not disappoint! We were welcomed and seated right away. Our waiter Andy was not only knowledgeable but he was hysterical too! We loved our food and drinks and will be back for sure!
