    We had a delicious dinner! The restaurant was decorated for the holidays and looked beautiful. Had an 8pm reservation and was seated by 8:15. It was very busy and the staff was not as attentive as I would have liked.

    Sorry to say it was not a great experience . It was highly recommended. But took so long to even order a drink or be noticed. When she came to the table she was really nice and attentive . Our biggest problem was right behind where we were sitting, there’s was a table issue for a large group. While they waited to get it figured out they were inches from us. They were all standing up conversing with each other. Actually got bumped several times. The servers could hardly get through . This was at least 25 minutes. So needless to say we could hardly talk to each other. Thought management should have done something. The spaghetti bolonase was fabulous . Very friendly staff but really overlooked our discomfort.

    Food is consistently excellent, service was extremely poor, wait 15 minutes or longer for server to get to our table, drink order took 30 minutes to get drinks to table, nobody cleared salad, just dumped entrees, manager looked like he had no clue how to lead a service team or provide proper supervision, leadership and floor support, he was clueless. Very disappointed as i have been coming there since the early 80’s. Just like everything in NYC going down hill.

    Amazinggggg food, amazing service, good vibes! We were greeted by Franchesca when we walked into the door and she started our night off so well! She is so friendly and helpful! She’s amazingggggg! The servings are huge & the quality is 10/10! Our servers Juan and Nick were so friendly and got everything right. This was not my first, second or third time in Carmines and it will definitely not be my last!

    Food was good, portion sizes outrageous. We ordered the Thanksgiving Turkey feast. Delicious meal and what was supposed to be dinner for 6-8 could have fed 10+. Service was brutally slow, absent and forgetful. The room was extremely noisy.

    Always great there but the holiday I’m sure is always crazy there. Tight table. And pricy holiday feast. But the taste is always on point. Been going here for years. I can’t complain. We love it.

    This was my first time in New York & I was so excited to visit Carmines and wow everything was Amazing! My family and I spent our Thanksgiving at the restaurant & it will definitely be our most memorable thanksgiving yet. Our waiter was exceptional , food was beyond delicious & ambiance was so pleasant. The dishes are HUGE & divine. Thank you Carmines for a beautiful experience .

    The atmosphere was lovely, the service was fantastic, and the food was outstanding!! Served family style so my sister and I ordered 1 main and it would have fed 4 people or so!! It was delicious! If I ever get back to New York, I will make sure I go to Carmine's again!

    Angelo, our server, was fabulous! We visited on the afternoon of the Thanksgiving holiday and the restaurant was bustling! He was attentive, quick and kind. Everyone we encountered was incredibly helpful, the entire staff was amazing. What a wonderful place!

    We went for Thanksgiving it was amazing the hostess Francesca was wonderful, our waiter Richard was a gentleman and the food was great. We got the Thanksgiving Feast with an apple pie. The ambience was casual and warm, lots of Italian families and people enjoying meals. We took home most of the Food. We had a wonderful time. The chairs were comfortable our table was good, we will return especially on birthdays and holidays.

    45degrees out yet ceiling fans are on high inside, can't be turned off according to staff. Food comes out luke warm by time you take a bite food is ice cold from fans blowing cold air. Apparently they either forgot to put my daughter's meal in or it went to another tables as mentioned to us, by the time we finished our food she finally got her KIDS meal. Manager makes ridiculous, defensive response in regards to our complaints. Server was absolutely amazing he would be the only reason if ever we returned, but that won't happen. Traveled 2 hours for a poor experience. Tables were absolutely too close it's like your sitting on top of one another very tight setting.

    We have been going to Carmines for many years. This is the first time we went to this location due to a show at the Symphony Space and we had such poor service! I am hoping this is an isolated issue. First we asked for split checks for the party of 11 which would have been 3 checks so it would be easier to pay at the end and were told they could not accommodate. In my opinion, the server always makes out better in tips when they can issue each party a separate check. Second, our alcohol drink order along with the soda order was taken but we asked 2 times and never received them, and finally being told they went to another table.. and we had to ask 3 times for the order of ginger ale. We waited forever for the apps and then the entrees, asking 2-3 different times in the span of 25 minutes for a refill on bread. All the food was delicious though!
