Everyone who ordered the Caesar Salad, said it was one of the best ones they've tasted. The Calamari appetizer was also very good. Waiter told us the Linguine and Fettuccine were homemade, so I ordered the Linguine with the Vodka Sauce. It was great. They were a little short staffed that night but the delicious food more than made up for it.

Jack was our server and he went above and beyond to make our dining experience the best it could possibly be. The Prosecco Lemon "Italian Spritzer" was the best, most refreshing cocktail I've had in ages! I had the seafood special...grilled wild caught salmon with a corn relish...cooked to PERFECTION! The hubs had chicken parmegiana that he loved. Jack was attentive, quick and efficient. Even though I could tell he was super busy, we never felt rushed. A beautiful evening!

The food was simply underwhelming, some of it obviously frozen, and the “fresh” pasta wasn’t fresh. Two of us, without drinks, spent $100 with tip for a meal that was comparable to Sbarro’s in a chintzy atmosphere.

Juan, the waiter was fantastic. Very attentative and helpful. I ordered a spicy dish and it was NOT spicy at all. That was a disappointment. Noise level was high and it made it somewhat difficult to hear others. I have mixed feelings about recommending Casa Rustica to a friend.

We were alumni visiting the area for the first time in 24 years. Casa Rustica is a mainstay from our time in Boone, so we choose the restaurant as the destination to celebrate our 16 y/o birthday and last meal with family. The service was great and they accommodated my son with a birthday cannoli, however, only five out of our party of six enjoyed their meal. The eggplant parmigiana that was ordered was nearly inedible. It appeared as if it was thawed and microwaved in the back before being brought to the table. The pasta that surrounded the dish was without sauce. We did not address the issue while dining as to not disrupt the evening, however, we are talking eggplant parmigiana. The price of the dish did not reflect the quality. With the exception of the parmigiana, I would recommend this restaurant to others, but discourage ordering this meal.

Always a pleasure to return to your restaurant. Only thing missing last night was Todd Wright and his saxophone. Spoke with Andy and learned that Todd is away in NYC for ASU. We usually choose Thursday nights to have great music with great food and service. Thanks/David Page

Our server Charlie was very kind and a great server. The food was very fresh. The best chicken Parm my husband has had in ages. The Caesar salad and the cream of mushroom soup were also delicious as well as my veal with prosciutto dish. We also liked the log cabin atmosphere.
