Have been to Cecconi’s several times for lunch, dinner and will go back for sure. Pizza (for the table) was delicious - thin, cheese melted precisely - the best. Eggplant parmigiana also exceptionally delicious. Zucchini frites for appetizer started the meal perfectly.
Nice staff and very clean and great food
Terrible experience tonight. Hosted my daughter’s birthday dinner. Service was rude and inattentive. Server made multiple errors on order and food arrived to the table cold. We won’t be back.
Love going back to this place every time!
The service and food were terrible . We had many different people waiting on us, and always had to flag someone down. The gnocchi were terrible. The bread was cold
The lights in the patio were off, it was so dark. our esspresso's tasted burnt. the service was horrible.
I loved cecconis! We got there pretty earlier, right as they were opening, but the staff was already up and running. The hostess and the waiters we got were so nice! The food was great as well! Will definitely return when we are back in the area!
I come here often and love the vibe. And they recently added a whole plant based section of the menu that is great! Make a res first, it’s busy, and it’s worth it.
We had a very tasty lunch. The service was very friendly and efficient.
With three babies crying and shrieking around our table and a dog barking, it was a terrible experience.
you need to resolve this because clearly other patrons were as upset as we were. This is the reason I would not recommend it.
Staff was friendly and welcoming. No LA ‘tude here. Hostess was also very friendly as well. Came here last year and this year and will always consider this a place for a great lunch with great food and service.
(I tried to add photos, but it doesn't let me add. This is my third time writing this review.)
I enjoyed my late lunch at Cecconi's on Sunday. My friend and I found the sound level a bit high. He had the veggie appetizer and I had the calamari, which was a bit tough. I had the salmon and it was a bit dry. For dessert, I had the tiramisu which was fantastic. Congrats on your great place. I will return if the person I'm with does not mind the higher-than-expected sound level.
Food and service excellent!
Only bad thing was that noise for lunch on. Sunday was unbearable and we couldn’t hear each other across the table.
We have come for family night on. Sunday and noise level was much better.
Great brunch for groups!
Agnolotti were too much “al dente”
Other pasta was not warm enough
Sorry to say it was disappointing!
The restaurant ambiance and food were amazing! The service was terrible. The waiter was really rude, rushing us to order and had zero patience.
always like the peoples who work there and make you feel at home , and enjoy the food who’s getting better and better . thank you
Extremely loud and poor service.
Loved being back!
Always delivers on quality food, the service is routinely spotty. It's an incredibly popular spot and the menu delivers every time, but there's always something that gets in the way. This time it was waiting fifteen minutes before the kitchen had to remembered to deliver my dessert. The wait staff themselves and front of house in general are terrific, hoping my next visit will be flawless!
Too Loud man!!!! Never going again in the evening
Food quality was fantastic. Unfortunately, the service leaves little to be desired. Staff had an attitude and did not seem as though they wanted to be there. Upon finishing our food and one drink we sat there for about 25 minutes until we asked one of the bus boys for our check. Our waitress never came back to check on us or even ask how the food was.
Nice breakfast in a very comfortable setting. Great place to meet up with friends and have fun conversation. Reasonably priced too.
Why is the wait staff so unattentivd
I am a frequent visitor to Cecconi's as I have been a member if Brits in LA for 10 years and often go to the breakfasts - fantastic value and great food. Only thing is the service is extremely slow! However I have recommended many people to Cecconi's and Brits in LA and will continue to do so. My chicken paillard yesterday was excellent.
Amazing service Deliciously, complex food for the palate. Enjoyed every bite!
It was amazing and food was delicious
Was great but 2 of us ordered the pasta special which turned out to be $100 a plate.... It was not good. We all agreed the food was mediocre and then we saw that the pasta we had just gobbled up was over $200, we were quite shocked. Had we known, perhaps we could have tricked our brains to enjoy it more ;)
The food was yummy. The service was impeccable with the details especially. The details set it apart. Like folding your napkin when you leave to the restroom and valet opening the door for your passenger. Would recommend.
We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday and took ordered from the Dine L.A. menu. Service was superb and the food was excellent. Fantastic craft cocktails. I’ve been there numerous times before but it was a new experience for my friends. I’m sure they’ll be back.
The server overcharged us twice and made us feel bad about the mistake he made.
Cecconi's has an excellent plant-based menu. We tried the Beyond Pizza and Impossible Rigatoni and they were both delicious. Topped it off with their vegan chocolate and coconut tart. Yum!
The food took forever to reach our table. 45min to be exact. We had to ask twice about the status. I know Mondays are busy, but they should do better.
Always a pleasure.
Cecconi’s outstanding cuisine, phenomenal and attentive service and warm yet airy and lively ambience is 5+++stars all the way!! It’s a neighborhood gem and a fantastic place to grab a quick bite or bring guests! We can’t wait for our next visit!
One of the best I've been. Can't wait to go back.
We booked our dinner based on having read solid reviews for Cecconi’s. Being from Melbourne, Australia we are spoiled when it comes to dining out and we think Cecconi’s LA hits it out of the park in every way. We were greeted warmly and invited to the bar for a drink whilst our table was being prepared (we were a bit early). The drinks menu was excellent and varied. The bartenders and our waitress were all competent and engaging. The food was really very good. After considering the many appealing/tempting options we ordered the octopus (best we’ve ever had - it melted in the mouth), the eggplant parmigiana, cavolo nero salad, lamb cavatelli and lobster spaghetti, and for dessert we had the coppa and tiramisu. Every dish was well-executed, generous (big chunks of lobster, for example, and plenty of it) and tasted delicious. We had the coppa because it was recommended by a diner at the table beside us and its creamy texture, cherry surprise and hints of butterscotch made it quite memorable. The service was attentive and consistent. The atmosphere was fun and happening - everywhere we looked people were chatting away and having a great time. We will be back.
This is a great restaurant, beautiful on the outside and inside. The food was delicious and properly portioned. All the service staff we encountered were polite and well trained. The atmosphere is very lively, so don’t go there expecting a quiet dinner! I would definitely come back
Just love this restaurant
Excellent location for a business meal. Outstanding service.
