   Disappointed. Waited 20 minutes for sit down when had reservation (did offer to sit at bar). Bread service not worth price. Decent salads. Oxtail with gnocchi was great. Meatballs were ehh. Meal was probably worth $60-$70. Not $100.

   The food was very good - interesting choices. We had two pastas, 2 of the meatballs, the bread service, split a salad, and had a bread pudding for dessert. 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine. Almost a $200 meal! Our server was a very nice young man, but he was not aware of the specials - maybe there was some secret special as I had seen mussels on a serving tray that weren't on the menu ? Who knows. It was incredibly loud inside as it's a small space that is basically an echo chamber, so not for an intimate meal for 2 but some of the best pasta I've had in Tampa. Overall a great experience. I just wish they had a slightly more expanded menu with some healthier choices on it. :)

   Delicious food, we had the Rustic Short Ribs bolognaise and Versuvius sausage pastas which were amazing and the Sordo Barola wine was omg delicious

   Dined at Cena for a birthday dinner. Found the space intimate but not "romantic" if thats something you're looking for. Enjoyed the bread service. I had the bolognese, found it to be tasty but a bit underwhelming. Visually very nice. My boyfriend had the Vesuvius which he loved. The portions were nice, server was very nice as well. Would try again on another night.

   Excellent food as always but the first time we have not had service to match. Service was not bad but not the level you expect at a restaurant with this level of cuisine and not the level we have received in previous visits.

    We hadn’t been to Cena in a long time so we decided to go again. Our server, Isabella, was wonderful & so was the wine but the food was only ok. I had the bronzini & it had waaay too much garlic on it. There were 4 people in our group & not one of us loved our meal. My son had the bolognese w/ pasta & it wasn’t a real bolognese. The meatballs were good & their tomato sauce is very good. My husband had the fish platter & the swordfish was dry as a bone. There are so many great restaurants in Tampa now that are very worth the money. Cena was not

    Cena is delightful. Small and even if every seat is filled it’s still small and intimate. Service is excellent and the food is out of this world. Have been many times and always leave looking forward to coming back

    Excellent food and service! Stephanie, our server, went above and beyond explaining the menu, the drinks, ingredients, etc…there were 4 of us, all first timers at Cena, and we weren’t let down.

    Wow! The most amazing short ribs I’ve ever had! Service was impeccable and the place is just adorable. We were in town for the Lightning game and wanted to grab a good meal beforehand, Cena was absolutely perfect.

    We love to eat at Cena before going to the Stratz or the Asturiana for a show. Outside usually has rather loud music going so we eat inside, sometimes at the bar. It is just the right size restaurant, upscale casual with excellent food and wine. The service is very friendly - nothing stuffy about this place!

    Cena is always a treat! Start with the eggplant even if you don’t like eggplant! Every single dish is so fresh, creative, delicious and beautiful. The service is consistently warm and helpful without hovering. We got a special treat from our server to be able to try the cookie butter cheesecake and wow!! Not too sweet - texture and flavors were just excellent. Thank you for another great meal! The experience is always memorable and amazing!

    Our food was fantastic! Every dish was wonderful: appetizer, salad, entree and dessert. The service was great, our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable. Our only complaint was that it was very noisy. Once the table next to us left, it improved. I can't imagine how noisy it would be on a crowded night.

    All was exceptional. We found a brand of bottle of a wine we enjoyed in Rome. It was even better here at Cena’s. We’ve missed not going there for years due to outings being limited. We’re back!

    Saw the chef on Beat Bobby Flat and wanted to try his food. All 4 of us ordered something different and EVERYTHING was excellent! Definitely coming back. It is an hour away but worth the drive.
