   Order a steak sandwich and a chop Burger…. Everything was cold when it arrived including the French fries. The waitress was awesome but the food for quality and value was lacking

   The service at this Chop location is above and beyond! The staff were very accomodating to my daughter, who ordered a dish that she didn't realize was spicy. When they realized why she wasn't eating it, they brought her a new dish ON THE HOUSE! The food was fantastic and the staff was incredible. I would choose this location again, 100%

   Chop is normally one of my favorite steakhouses. Tonight we were seated in a booth that was filthy. Food scraps from the previous group were on the table and seats and the menus were sticking to the table because it wasn’t wiped down. We alerted the waitress after waiting for 10 minutes and the hostess did a poor job cleaning the booth. We had to point out food and drink slops that were missed even after requesting it be properly wiped down. There was no acknowledgment from management or an apology. Overall the meal was “OK” but our steaks weren’t to the normal standard. A very poor experience tonight and we won’t be returning as regular customers to this location.

   We had a 5:15 reservation in the dining room for 6 ppl on an extremely busy concert night in the Ice District. We were seated promptly and our server(Michael) was ON POINT. We could tell he was very busy but he was attentive and listened. We had drinks, appetizers, and full meals - not one the same - everything came out as ordered, hot and perfectly cooked. Thank you Michael! The food was great but you were perfect!

   A nice evening for a birthday celebration prior to an event at the Winspear. Only downside was the restaurant is situated above the bar and involves three stairways to access. Strange configuration. Food was excellent as was the service. Recommended.

   Brought my grandmother to Chop for Mother’s Day. Upon arriving we were told we would have to sit upstairs because we had minors in our group. Which is fine, but they claimed their elevator wasn’t working (which we later found out was not true) and my grandma has mobility issues. Our server was polite, but only came to our table maybe 3 or 4 times throughout our time there. We ordered goat dip for an appetizer and it was cold. 3 out of 4 of the steaks we ordered were either very undercooked, or very over cooked. My entree was cold.. The steaks were remade, but took forever and we were going to pay and leave before they got to our table. Overall a terrible experience.

    Came here for our anniversary but you wouldn’t know it as our server didn’t inquire about our reservations. The place was busy since it was an Oilers game night. Service was slow and no semblance of friendly conversation until it was time to pay the bill of course. Food was mediocre. Limited selection of mocktails.

    It was an Oilers game night and they were full. Close to game time it emptied. We did the downtown dining week menu which was an amazing deal. We were with our family for dinner and a movie, the teens ordered prime rib and the adults ordered the Miso Salmon for the mains. The teenaged boy’s prime rib, icovered the huge plate, they were very happy. No complaints about the food or the service.

    With it being downtown dining week we thought we would try Chop once again. Had great experiences in 2019 when we last went. Great value for the dollar! Had the $35 three course meal - 9 oz prime rib. Excellent!! So good we are going back next week with friends.

    Went to this chop location before a hockey game. Our food took over 1 1/2 to be served to us. Once it arrived at our table all the food was cold. We were late to the hockey game, due to our food taking so long

    We went for Valentines Day was hoping that the restaurant would have specials to order for a meal but, there was none. We ordered off the menu when it came the mashed potatoes and béarnaise sauce was cold. They brought back hot potatoes but the béarnaise sauce was still cold not understanding why I asked them to take it off the bill. My steak was very tasty and the vegetables. The server was outstanding she new her menu well and came by quit often to check on us. She offered more drinks, dessert and always had are water glass full!! I would go back its very relaxing atmosphere and the music is playing but, not too loud so you could talk without having to shout. Had a great evening.

    Had reservations for three and they put us at a small table when they had larger available, then say two people at larger table. We were right beside server entry station always felt like someone was right there listening. Asked for refills they did not come. Overall not a welcoming experience.

    We were on the upper level Dining area and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable for the entire meal. So we eat and ran as they say it. Would have stayed longer otherwise. Service was excellent.

    Food was barely wArm, however food was tasty. Expected a little more ambiance considering it was Xmas day. Did not like the servers in jeans! Price was average. There would have been a 5 star rating had it not been for the above reasons.
