   Enjoyed an early dinner with our family. Helen provided excellent service. The kids pizzas were huge! Pasta dishes were great. Good happy hour as well.

    Everyone was cordial and courteous. Very happy staff, which adds to the overall experience. Food was very good. We had the steak salad and pasta bolognese. Delicious!! Will definitely visit again!

    Ok food, very friendly service however soft drinks are made with tap water which seemingly contains high level of chlorine in D.C. and therefore makes the soft drinks smell and taste like chlorine. Was not drinkable to us.

    I have come here multiple times and I love this place. The food, drinks, and service are consistently great. I have tried multiple menu items and I have yet to have anything but great food. Highly recommend this place.

    Met up for brunch with some friends visiting from out of town, and this was the perfect spot. Wonderful service, delicious food, and we were seated very quickly. Always a neighborhood gem!

    First time visit. The food ultimately ended up being great. Just a few curve balls in the beginning. Order tea but water wasn’t hot, also ordered this amazing chicken sandwich but the potatoes were cold. The service was amazing and the Waiter (Jayce) made sure our first time visit there wasn’t a epic failure. The items were replaced immediately and my wife and I were able to enjoy our first time experience.I would definitely return to the establishment and recommend this to people in my circle. Thanks Jayce for pulling it out for us and making the customer the priority. Well Done….

    Average food. Nothing special. And way behind in tech where they can’t split the check or take multiple cards. Just a headache to dine there for below average food. Waitress was nice though.

    A wonderful spot in the District! We loved the eclectic decor and outdoor seating options. The menu was full of wonderful options including seasonal flavors as well. It was well-marked with dietary concerns and vegan and vegetarian options. The wait staff were attentive. We would visit again.

    Trip Advisor listed this restaurant as #4 in their list. It was absolutely not that good. It was good enough but not a place I would return to. My s'mores dessert was very strange with a flan like substance surrounded with hard pieces of marshmallow and graham cracker crumbs.

    Very cool vibe, almost like a neighborhood lounge, with great service and excellent food and drinks to match. During a week-long visit to DC, this was our favorite stop. Our server talked us through all choices, was incredibly friendly without being intrusive, and found some creative drinks for our occasion. We met some locals at the next table with whom we had a wonderfully rich conversation. Great stop, and would unquestionably return.

    Went to see the World Cup finals - asked for a seat with a good view as Christmas present for my son and they put us in front of the big screen. You t was a great view. They did not rush us out, and let us stay for the whole game, although had to leave a little early because had got tickets for a Kennedy Center show and the game went into overtime and penalty kicks - watched on our phones. Enjoyed the ambience. Had eggs and lox. My son was not a fan of the potato pancakes.

    Visit to our daughter in DC with 2 sons, and our daughter in law, plus a couple of friends. We had a fun experience at Commissary DC. Great customer service and fine food at a decent price. Loved the mood of the restaurant. The bar was well stocked. We’ll be back.

    Remarkably subpar food. Burger came cold, undercooked, and without dressing. Fries were also cold and small. Other orders were also very mediocre. For the price it was absolutely not worth it. Many more restaurants in the area are far better.

    Seated promptly. Tables adequately spread out. Friendly, knowledgeable waiter. Well-prepared food - we inadvertently filled up on Early Bird appetizers. Wife’s Expresso Martini was disappointing - hardly any cream in it. Desserts were a bit too heavy.

    My partner, daughter, and I ate here before attending the ballet nearby. Our server (I’m so sorry, I didn’t catch her name) was so extremely helpful with suggestions. She did not disappoint! We started with the sesame ginger chicken lettuce wraps, which were sooo flavorful and addictingly good! The server followed up and shared that I’d be sure to love the kung pao Brussels sprouts since I loved the wraps so much. My partner had the Eat Well Sandwich for his entree and I had the Avocado Bowl with added smoked salmon. First of all, it’s so wonderful having such a healthy and diverse selection to order from! Secondly, the eggs were perfectly poached. I’ve never been served eggs so perfectly poached before and I certainly can’t manage to get it down at home :-) Our 8 year old daughter had the kid’s cheese pizza and it was enough for 2 servings. My partner and I snuck in a bite and it was so very good! Better than the brick oven pizza we’d had the night before while dining out. All around we had a great time and we’ll definitely be back! Tip: make SURE you make reservations well in advance!
