Big party group. We had a great time! Our chef was so funny. He made us laugh the whole time—five stars for the service. The fried rice was okay, but the ribeye steak was soft and flavorful. This place is excellent for special occasions since the price is higher.

We had an excellent dinner here. I am not a sushi fan (I don’t like seaweed or cold rice) but my husband is, so we had put off going here for a while. I wish we had eaten here sooner! The Rumi Roll that my husband ordered was the best sushi I’ve ever tried. Because it was so freshly made and not out of the refrigerator, the rice was more lukewarm than cold which helped my sensory issues with cold rice. The waitress told me next time we could request to have it made with soy paper instead of seaweed for me. The gyoza appetizer was amazing and the tempura and chicken yakisoba were good too. The waitress was great. Cocktails were tasty also!

Food and service was outstanding. Noise level is high, conditions of the bathrooms could be better given the prices and level of the restaurant overall

We had some great food, especially the sashimi and rolls. Also had the halibut cheeks which were good. My daughter had the udon soup, that was a flop. Soup was tasteless, shrimp tempura was soggy. I also liked the sakura blossom martini. Overall a good experience.

A fun place for a tasty and participatory lunch. Lots of options for your preferred protein for the grill. At our table, we had the sirloin, the shrimp, the spicy pork, tery chicken thighs and broccoli. All were nicely seasoned & well portioned. The sirloin and the shrimp were our favorites. There are also rice/noodle bowls if you prefer not to cook your own lunch. The gojuchang beef bowl at our table got high marks for just the right amount of spicy. And if you order dessert, c’mon! You’ve got a grill in the middle of the table. Of course, get the s’mores! Staff are very attentive and friendly, possibly because we were obvious first timers, but also because that just seems to be the vibe. As each plate was delivered, they gave us suggested grill times for each item and were attentive about clearing away the many little emptied as we were done with them. The lunch includes miso soup and the side salad (yummy dressing!) so unless you’re a linebacker you’ll be full at the end of the meal. Coming in at around $15-17 pp, it’s a great lunch option!
