It was a rainy day and the 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed the tea together. Thank you!More infoThe St Regis DC - Afternoon tea$$$$• Afternoon Tea• Downtown•4.5
- DDulceWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined on May 22, 2026First time attending an afternoon tea in DC and I was impressed! The ambiance, tea selection, variety of food, (a harpist!), and staff were excellent. Our server Deepak was 10/10!! Incredibly knowledgeable about teas, how they’re grown, and history. Thank you Deepak for elevating the experience by sharing your expertise! Excited to come back again with a group of friends.More infoWillard Peacock Alley Tea$$$$• Afternoon Tea• Downtown•4.6
- GGonyWashington, D.C. Area •6 reviews5.0Dined on May 7, 2026If you ever wanted a beautiful and elegant High Tea experience, THIS IS IT. Harpist, china service, attentive wait staff, gorgeous room, gorgeous decorations, all accentuated the excellent tea (and this coming from a coffee drinker), amazing scones/jam/clotted cream, and together made for an amazing experience. We picked the vegetarian savories and - WOW - so incredibly varied and tasty. The sweets were in theme with Cherry blossoms (cherry mousse with matcha biscuit) and not to my taste but absolutely beautifully presented. My favorite was the caramel scone and the cherry jam - wishing I could have another today. The Tea started at 3:30 p.m. but we stayed multiple hours and the wait staff remained attentive and gracious. It was on the expensive side for us, but as a special occasion and special treat, it was very much worth it. Highly recommend!More infoWaldorf Astoria DC Afternoon Tea$$$$• Afternoon Tea• Washington•4.5
