- MMattDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined on May 15, 2026This is a casual BBQ place that also has a music venue attached to it. We were there for a show, so multiple bands and lots of fans were there to eat. Take that into account, considering going on a regular day would be different. We reserved 2 seats at 6:30pm and were placed at the end of a communal table. The place was almost full at that point, but we didn't realize that 2 of the bands were eating there as well. Place was busy, but not overwhelmed. The BBQ was honestly some of the best we've had in the Denver area. We ordered 1/2 pound of brisket, 1/2 pound of pulled pork, beans with burnt ends in them, and slaw. There's a full service bar in the restaurant and they make pretty much everything. Ordering food is at the bar and a pager alerts you when the food is ready. Ours literally took 5-10 minutes, which means they have plenty of stuff prepared ahead of time. I definitely do not feel that affected the quality at all and everything was the temperature it was supposed to be. We both liked the meat equally and the sauces were great. The house BBQ sauce was slightly sweet with more vinegar, which was perfect for both meats. A Carolina Gold sauce was tasty as well. The beans were a favorite with the burnt ends in them. I get it, burnt ends shouldn't get soggy, but these were delicious and added so much flavor to the beans I didn't care. The slaw was our least favorite thing as it was fairly basic, but I still enjoyed the crunch with the other, softer items. The interior is decorated more like a rustic smokehouse, with casual high top tables mostly. Bathrooms are incredibly small, but are independent and private. Bar staff was attentive and responsive, taking our orders within 2 minutes everytime. Food came out accurately and the noise level in there (even before a concert) was normal. Parking outside is on the street. We parked about a block and a half away, no big deal. Definitely going back for the food. Will see more shows there.More infoGlobe Hall BBQ & Kitchen$$$$• Barbecue• River North (Denver)•4.6
