Best British Restaurants in Brierley Hill

My mum and I visited The Ivy to celebrate our 40th and 70th birthdays, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The food was delicious, with a fantastic variety of options, and the drinks were lovely. What really made our visit special was the wonderful staff, who were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout. We had a fantastic time and made some very special memories. Highly recommended!

We asked to be seated in the Restaurant as opposed to inside the canopy on the forecourt outside. A lovely larger table for two. The design of this area is a stylish, with a box to industrial but with updated tweaks. Lovely deep blues and linking to water based interest. Perfect, as we'd selected Starter 1 - Baked prawns with rustic slices of bread Starter 2 - Turbot served with asparagus and peas in a creamy sauce. Both plates beautifully presented. Mains for both of us was Boulibaise with chunks of toasted bread. Undertones of fennel and a beautiful firey kick. Dressed with longusteen in shell. There was a depth of flavour I can't describe but gorgeous! Washed down with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc nicely chilled. Dessert was Pestachio Roulade with Vanilla Ice-cream. The evening was unrushed and the food exquisite. Staff at front of house and serving on the tables and in the kitchen new the right level of engagement. Thankyou so much. It was another meal to remember. My third time of visiting and never disappointed!.

We spent a lovely afternoon having brunch and celebrating with our mum for her birthday. We chose the bottomless option and this did not fail to impress. Usually you cannot request another drink until you have finished what you already have, however the staff continually came to top up our glasses without being asked. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Used the Bay tree many times on previous management. Damon has taken over and lifted the standard once again both he and his staff are first class! The new menu is wonderful and the quality is excellent. Thanks to you all for a wonderful experience.
