    The exterior of Mangrove will have you think it's a run-of-the-mill joint you can't wait to get out of. Nothing could be further from the truth. Mangrove magically weaves a combo of tropical ambiance that isn't cheesy, great service, and great music at a volume that is enjoyable, yet allows for conversation. Menu offerings are well-portioned, shareable, and tasty. Standouts were the Mangrove salad (3 levels up from the typical Caribbean restaurant offerings), the rice and peas, and curried chicken. They also know how to serve in a timely manner on a busy Friday night without making the diner feel rushed. Great drinks and wonderful friendly service! What's not to love?

    Shiso was a wonderful dining experience from start to finish, we had the stracciatella appetizer, the eggplant katsu, oxtail udon, and the steak. It was literally a flawless meal, the cocktails were also amazing! And the baked Alaska cornbread dessert is not to be missed! The atmosphere is super cool and the music was also good, our server was kind and very attentive. Highly recommend, I know we will be going back soon and bringing our friends!
