Best Cocktail Bars in South Side, Pittsburgh / Western PA

The ambiance was fantastic! I loved the outdoor, yet covered patio. The food and drinks were just wonderful. We ended up getting two small plates to share and a large plate each - and walked away more than satisfied, but you could just get a bunch of small plates to share too.

Everything was outstanding and the service was excellent. The environment was so friendly we even had conversations with tables nearby who like us were enjoying the food, service, ambiance, and collaboration. Great hospitality and now on our list of places to return to when we wish to enjoy time and interesting food. :-)

If you’re looking for a nice dinner spot with great food and a good vibe, Revel definitely delivers. Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. The service was great, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the drinks were amazing. My only small critique was the Honey Sriracha chicken. To be fair, I was warned that it was spicy, but for me the sauce leaned heavily toward straight sriracha — I didn’t really pick up much honey or sweetness. Thankfully, they let me get the sauce on the side. Even without it, the chicken and the rest of the meal were still delicious. I honestly think I would’ve enjoyed it even more if the flavor balance was a little different, but that’s completely personal preference. It was also a bit loud when we first arrived, but considering it was Saturday dinner time, that was pretty expected. One highlight was the bartender’s choice drink — it was incredible. I seriously wish I had asked what was in it because I’d order it again in a heartbeat. Overall, it was a great experience and I’ll definitely be back. If anything, the only thing keeping it from being a full 5/5 is probably user error on my part with the sauce choice. Still, it made for a really great night!

Staff was A++ Paul was an awesome server. Highly recommend this place. All the food was phenomenal along with the service. We tried them for the first time for a special occasion but we will not limit visits to those occasions we will now be returning for any reason!
