Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Perth Amboy

We always have an amazing dinner at The Metuchen Inn. The servers are always so friendly and attentive and the food never ever disappoints. Such a gem of a place, right in our neighborhood.

This place is really great for light or heavier food options. There are many Bowl options where protein can be added, and I loved the flexibility of choosing. Everything was delicious and we had a wonderful birthday lunch celebration. The servers are so attentive and were excellent!

It was my first time dining at Violette's. Everything was absolutely wonderful from being welcome upon arrival to the ambience and atmosphere that was present throughout the restaurant. The level of service we received and the menu selections were absolutely on point. The level of attention that was paid regarding the water service was a pleasant experience when a server came with an offering of sliced fruit, cucumbers, or mint to be placed in your water to infuse it. All of the food we had was well prepared and very delicious. There were "experience" cocktails we ordered which were entertaining to watch as they served our drinks table side. The grand finale was the dessert we ordered which was a cookie butter tiramisu. It was one of the most delicious desserts I've had in a very long time and also very uniquely presented. I highly recommend this restaurant for an evening out as a girls night out or a great place for a date.
