Bcos it was a date night, staff really read our reservation request and assigned us our preferred seats thank you ! Really cozy and welcoming space ~ love the warm lightings. The staff were friendly, and the steak on carbonara was lovely ! One of the few places that does Matcha Tiramisu,nd does it well :) Thank you Team OPPEN, we’ll be back !

This is an excellent restaurant we have been to on many occasions and never been disappointed. The food is delicious, prepared to perfection and well presented. The wait staff are attentive and professional and the experience is unhurried so that you can enjoy a relaxed meal at your own pace. The wine list is unpretentious and great value with a number of wines we have sought out and purchased for ourselves at home. The atmosphere is conducive to table conversations and feels inviting without being loud. Portion sizes are very adequate without over-facing and the side dishes are excellent. This is our favourite local restaurant by a large margin.

Had a really great date night. The fondue and the bratwurst was incredible and the service lovely.

Ms Ava is beautiful a lovely quiet dining area set within one of Melbourne's iconic & wonderful heritage hotels. Away from the crowds quietly located the service was excellent. My friend & I were well looked after by the bar attendant who took our orders for food & drink. He was very helpful & friendly. The food was delivered promptly we had the express menu. A good easy menu selection for lunch. The food was great well prepared cooked to perfection presented well. I highly recommend a visit.
