Our party of four had theater tickets at 7:30 and service was quick and efficient leaving us plenty of time to get to the National Theater. We had the hamburger, the French dip, the Nicoise Branzino and the rotisserie chicken. Everything was delicious and the price was good for the value and the location in the heart of DC. We even had time for Michels Chocolate Bar —-always a hit and amazing vanilla ice cream.More infoCentral Michel Richard$$$$• American• Penn Quarter•4.7
- JJoeWashington, D.C. Area •24 reviews5.0Dined on May 20, 2026We dined at Amelie before attending a play at Studio Theater a few blocks north. We told the waitress at the beginning that we were going there and had to leave in time to make it, and she and the restaurant made sure that the meal was served on time, including the dessert. The food was excellent as was the service. The only negative was that the noise level was fairly high, but that seems to be the case in all the restaurants in that area. We would have taken a table outside except that it was forecast to rain. All in all, I highly recommend Amelie for its food and service, but don't expect to have much of a conversation across your table.More infoAmélie DC Bistro & Wine Bar$$$$• French• Logan Circle•4.6

Only regret is that they don't serve Chateaubriand!More infoBrasserie Liberté$$$$• Contemporary French / American• Georgetown•4.2
