Gateau Ghost's humble beginnings trace back to the pandemic when founder Jayden Park perfected his madeleines in his home kitchen. This is where crowd favourite Madeline flavours like Matcha-Pistachio, Black Sesame, Strawberry, and Miso were first created. Fast forward to 2024, and we've opened the first brick-and-mortar restaurant. The space is a 3-in-1 masterpiece: a bakery, a small storefront stocked with products from local businesses, and a bistro-style restaurant with an open kitchen. We're serving coffee, pastries, brunch, lunch, and dinner from our location at College & Dovercourt in Toronto. Our cafe is open 7:00 am - 6:00 pm.Brunch is available from 10:00am-4pm, Tuesday - Friday; 9:00am-4pm Saturday & Sunday.Dinner reservations 6:00pm - late, Thursday - Saturday. Closed on Mondays. We accept reservations two weeks in advanced and require a credit card to book for parties of 6+.Entire party must be present to be seated.

My Food was Excellent. Portions were not excessive. Service was attentive and personable. Facility very French, cosy , small and Bistroish!! One small issue.: presented a gift certificate sufficiently large enough to cover the bill and a 20% tip. Advised that ,balance, remaining between gross bill and value of certificate could neither,be redeemed as a tip, nor, credited for future use. So, I, ordered a dessert for my wife and an another glass of wine for myself. Consumed the full value of the gift certificate and left a cash tip of 20%of gross. Will definitely try again! This was our first visit.

Scaramouche is a special occasion restaurant for us. We have been coming for over 40 years. It continues to delight with beautifully executed and imaginative menus. The asparagus salad, the fois gras terrine, the scallops and the lobster risotto were excellent as was the iconic coconut cream pie. The staff continue to be there when you need them and otherwise discrete. The ambiance is elegant. We had a lovely lovely even. As always.

Everything about Browne’s appeals to us: the menu, the setting, the location, the quiet, but most of all Jerry, our wonderful attentive waiter. His welcoming and personal assistance is always so appreciated. He makes all his guests feel at home and special.
