    The Red Hat is an Irvington institution. I've eaten there many times and in the past I felt the quality of the food was inconsistent. Not so yesterday...everything was great - from the pate to the mussels & frites to the affogato - all were excellent. The service was also excellent - attentive but not overbearing. As with most restaurants these days, prices are high-ish, especially alcoholic beverages but when the venue, food & service are this good, you don't mind.

    What a wonderful (re)addition to town! The food, ambiance and service are all top notch. The new owners (two awesome brothers) could not be more welcoming. This space, known as the old Casa Rina, has been completely updated and is a perfect location for drinks, lunch or any size party!
