    I always love this place. They have creative and delicious chef-inspired food at a reasonable price. Excellent options for data-night or entertaining. They do tasting events on occasion, which is what we went to most recently. We had the most amazing experience with a 6-course meal with wine pairing. But you can get a really great burger there too. I think there is something for everyone. Great bartender as well (shout out to Matt!).

    I've been to Cress for lunch several times this past month. Had the hanger steak sandwich which cane with soup or salad. Had carrot ginger soup and vegetable bisque. Also had chicken salad on a croissant which had grapes almonds and green. All were exceptional. The servers were very attentive. It had ambience because quiet and tables for 2 by the front windows. Also covered outdoor seating. It's my new favorite place for lunch or dinner in deland. Also it's an all-day menu for sandwiches or something smaller.
