We went with friends who live in France part of the year and they very much enjoyed their meals as did we. The service was also very good. What we had: escargot, a nice salad with a lovely dressing, two people had the duck which they loved, and one person had steak tartar, french fries and pate for the appetizer. We all enjoyed some wine. For desert, my husband and I had creme brulee', our friends very much liked the apricot tart. My husband and I have been to this restaurant before and liked it. This is not an inexpensive restaurant but not through the moon either. You get a quality, beautifully presented meal. If you get there early enough, say about 6:15 or so, you might be lucky and find a spot on the street. You'd have to pay the meter for an hour or so. Our reservation was for 6:45 and we arrived at about 6:15. Lots of street parking. By the time our friends arrived about 30 minutes later they had to drive about a bit - even tho there is a pay-for lot in the rear that doesn't charge much. We see that there is a Happy Hour here Tuesday through Friday from 5-6. Though we usually eat at about 7:30 or later, we might try that one day. It looked pretty good! If we have one recommendation, it would be to find a way to make it a bit quieter inside. Last night there was a large party which, of course, meant a lot of noise. It was a party after all and the celebrants were having a good time! The other time we dined there it was a weekend and it was also pretty loud and difficult to talk. Would we return - yes! The food and service is really good and maybe we could find a quieter table to dine. Also, there is a slight discount if you pay cash and don't use your card.More infoDeux Bistro$$$$• French• Woodland Hills•4.7

We all ordered the lobster which was a generous 1 1/2 lbs and priced very, very reasonably for Lobster. Two of the party members previously lived in New England and agreed the lobster is as good they were able to get on the east coast. We had a great time and a wonderful meal!More infoLe Petit Restaurant$$$$• French• Sherman Oaks•4.8

The food was truly a 10/10, everything was delicious from the drinks, to starters, dinner, and dessert. Roasted cabbage, burger, steak frites medium rare, green beans, basque cheesecake.
