    3rd time there, really good as usual. Will be back. Had the chicken and waffles, omelette, and bread pudding french toast. All were really good, the apple fritters are perfect. The omlette was my favorite because they cook it a little under, so it's not dry.

    Hands-down, the best French food I’ve had in a while, outside of France. Was worried about this being in the market and perhaps more touristy but far from it. It was one of two best dinners we had. I had the duck coffee and the skin was perfectly crispy, but the meat still forktender. My dinner mates had bouillabaisse, the pork chop and scallops all delicious! The wine we wanted was not available, but the bartender suggested an equally delicious, and less expensive wine. We definitely recommend and go back.

    We had the most wonderful 5 Course American Omakase Dinner at Violet! We started with Hamachi Crudo, then had the most amazing large Scallop with local asparagus with a truffle broth, then beautifully seared Foie Gras with lentils. Next we had a grilled lamb loin with the most delicate potato purée, artichokes and house demi. Lastly, we had a rich chocolate cremeux with raspberries and plums. The service was amazing and Chef William came out to say hi and sat and chatted with us at the end. I would highly recommend this neighbourhood gem!
