    Good attentive and friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Meals fresh and tasty, accommodated a toddler and served them first to keep them happy. Not too long a wait even though we were a table of six. Would recommend.

    We had to find a place to stay at short notice after an 30 km walk and luckily the Bear Inn had two rooms. After a short wait when a tap was being fixed, we were in. The rooms were comfortable, had everything we needed, but the highlight was the food and the young man at the bar who went above and beyond to help us organise our bag collection. The menu was extensive and everything we ordered was outstanding. I would highly recommend the scallops.
