Best Gastro Pubs in Stourport-On-Severn

This is a place that we regularly go and I would always recommend it to family and friends if you want great food with a lovely atmosphere this is your place to go.

Fantastic food as always. Staff are attentive and friendly. And a lovely setting.

Took a chance on The Fountain as it was not somewhere I was familiar with - and so glad I did! We all opted for the Beef Wellington special which was delicious - the fillet was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection (fairly rare which is how I like steak but might be a little too rare for some people), with wonderful vegetables and light and crispy Yorkshire puddings. We then also had the dessert special of raspberry souffle which was like eating a delicate, raspberry flavoured cloud - sublime! Staff were friendly and efficient, and the dining area was lovely and cool on a hot afternoon.

Very polite and friendly staff, food was beautiful, will be going again, very pleased.

Second time visiting this pub because we enjoyed the first visit so much. It does not disappoint. Lovely staff, great menu with a variety of choices at different price points. We had the set menu and it was excellent value and very tasty. Overall, top quality and highly recommended. Dog friendly too and plenty of free parking.
