A bit of pampering at a reasonable cost. The meal was presented beautifully and quality food was served. There was attention to detail in everything. Our servers (Kim & Olivia) were incredibly attentive and personable. Restaurant also felt very clean. Such a pleasant dining experience.

What can I say…Chef Michel brings his magic to Muskoka and the Pearl Staff is amazing. Get yourself to Bala for a treat.

This was a great Mother's Day tea. We have been there now twice for high tea and both times, the offerings are amazing.

Last night’s supper at Portside was 5-star on any system. The food, service and ambiance were spectacularly good in relation to other Muskoka restaurants we have visited this year. It is a pity for locals that they are soon closing for this season. We have had some history of experience at this location, going back to our first time when it was Loondocks. The first night was like last night, maybe even better, but then the restaurant located in this excellent location delivered increasingly shabby experience IMO … so much so, that we stopped going when we were here at our cottage. Noting a change in name and decor (we did not come E in 2024), we decided to try it again. Whomever is running the show now has really turned things around brilliantly. MANY KUDOS! Given opportunity, we will be back and once again we’ll be recommending the place enthusiastically to others.
