Best Italian Restaurants in Montefollonico

What a glorious experience! One of my oldest friends and I met here for lunch. From the moment I entered the hotel and received by Massimo to the glorious service from beginning to the end of our repast, we received beautiful hospitality. The food was delicious and the prosecco sparklingly fresh. The views of the Arno and the city of Firenze and surroundings were epic. The weather was gorgeous and a gentle breeze wafted up to our table. You will love this restaurant experience. Enjoy!

Casa Medici was one of the most memorable dining experiences of our Italy trip and a truly special birthday celebration. Chef Vittorio de Mena was incredibly attentive and passionate, not only about the food but about the story behind every dish. His love for seafood and cooking came through in every recommendation, and everything we ordered was outstanding. Our hostess, Chiara, who is an experienced tour operator, brought a completely different level of magic to the evening. From the moment we entered, her warmth, storytelling, and knowledge of Renaissance era elevated the entire experience far beyond just dinner. We enjoyed the tuna and swordfish carpaccio, exceptional oysters, linguini with clams, and sea bream in salt, all beautifully prepared and incredibly fresh. The crepe suzette with Grand Marnier was a perfect ending, followed by limoncello that made the evening feel even more celebratory. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was also excellent throughout the evening, genuinely caring. The combination of incredible food, genuine hospitality, and storytelling made this one of the highlights of Florence for us. Highly recommended.

We had a great time here for an early lunch. They had just opened and we were the only ones there at noon, but the service and food was great! The ambiance is fun and the pasta was delicious!
