We shared a pepperoni pizza and the 3 dip appetizer, and all were delicious. Can’t wait to go again.More infoRosalia - Linden Hills$$$$• Italian• Linden Hills•4.8
- JJenMinneapolis - St. Paul •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoFantastic evening. Booked a date night for an evening out and was very impressed with the overall experience. Reservation was for 7:30 and we were greeted promptly and seated swiftly. The maître d’ seated us a fantastic booth with visibility to the kitchen and full restaurant. Chefs kiss for kitchen and people watching views. We were greeted by our server Ben who walked us through the cocktail menu, but we opted for a delicious bottle of white as recommended by Mary, the sommelier of the evening. Dry, with a delicious stone fruit, pear, and a bit of citrus punch with a clean, crisp finish to the palette. We each opted for the prix fix dinner option. My lady had the panzanella salad, shrimp risotto, salmon, and the shortcake. I opted for the octopus carpaccio, mezzaluna, lamb, and shortcake. My lady shared the highlight of the evening for her was the risotto. It was delicious. Slightly briny, perfectly cooked Arborio rice, with a lemon zest pop, delish. I will add the acidic punch of the dressing on the panzanella was perfect. She also shared that her salmon was cooked to perfection. For my meal, the hands down winner of the evening, was the octopus carpaccio. I say this with all sincerity, the perfect bite was a bit of everything, and the flavors blended and danced like a light acid forward potato salad of my dreams. If this was not the flavor profile the kitchen team was looking for, welll I’ll be damned because it was the shocker from left field. Tart, crisp, crunch, with these amazing potatoes that added a light and delicious body. I heard the tartare described as “a fancy Big Mac” and I’d say what is more meat and potatoes than a burger and potato salad. Although I didn’t have the tartare as I do not eat beef, if it was anything as good as the rest of the meal, I’d absolutely recommend. All in all, the atmosphere was fantastic, food delicious, service amazing, and an evening the misses said, “this may become our go-to.” Phenomenal. 😏✌🏽More infoMara$$$$• Mediterranean• Downtown / Mill District•4.7
