Kira New Orleans exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The atmosphere was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the service made the entire experience memorable. Our server, Gabe, was absolutely amazing—attentive, knowledgeable, and personable without ever being intrusive. He guided us through the menu and made sure every detail of our dining experience was perfect. We started with the Bang Bang Shrimp, which was packed with flavor and had just the right amount of heat. The Mixed Grill featuring the Wagyu Skewer and Lamb Chops was cooked perfectly and made for an incredible appetizer. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Australian Wagyu Tomahawk Steak and the Charcoal-Grilled Lobster Tail, both of which were exceptional. The steak was tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the lobster tail was fresh, buttery, and beautifully prepared. The cocktail program did not disappoint either. My man had 2 Fig Old Fashioneds, and both were expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. We also enjoyed 2 glasses of wine that paired beautifully with our meal. To finish, we shared the Black Sesame & Dark Chocolate Torte, which was rich, decadent, and the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. From the food and drinks to the exceptional service from Gabe, every aspect of our evening was top-notch. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Kira to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience in New Orleans.

Visiting NOLA for a LSU graduation, on our last evening we desired something other than creole/cajun cuisine. Being Greek we decided on Athenian Bar & Grill. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the warm hospitality (filoxenia). RG & Sam took great care of our party of 14. The vibe is very much like the Aegean Islands, light, bright & vibrant. They have an excellent selection of Greek wines by the glass or bottle and offer a full bar. We chose Moschofilero for its versatility, as in crisp, floral and refreshingly dry. Our table enjoyed family style horiatiki salatas with superior imported feta, fork tender octopus, rustic house made spanakopitas, pan seared saganaki, chicken gyros, chicken skewers, pork gyros, pork skewers, lamb chops and some of the best tzatziki around. They treated us to a complimentary juicy loukaniko which was earthy & robust. Owner Vasilios is not trying to re-invent classics. Quite the opposite…the team is executing traditional dishes with quality natural & imported ingredients focusing on authenticity. This truly hidden gem in the historic French Quarter, not only celebrated our graduate but our heritage as well. Opa!

Every time my husband and I have dined here it’s been a 10 / 10 food, cocktail, and service experience. The only downside I would say is that it is a smaller restaurant so you can hear other people’s conversations. However, this eunique restaurant on the North Shore is a must go. 

The arayes pita sandwich full of delicious grilled ground beef was so good! Also typical of the excellent pita/hummus found in Tel Aviv, loved it.
