Third visit. Sat at the bar and had drinks and apps during happy hour. Everything was really good, and also everyone we encountered working there were super friendly and accommodating. Will be returning soon.

This was our first time visiting Mochomos. Overall, we had an excellent experience from the moment we arrived. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were promptly seated. The restaurant has a very cool vibe, good music, they pour really good drinks. Initially we decided on the arrachera but went with our servers recommendation which was the short rib. Nice portion to share but…it was a little too fatty and tough for our liking. When beef shreds it can be a little chewy. Probably should’ve addressed this with the staff as it was not something we both enjoyed. Full disclosure, I ate it because I was starving and had waited all day to dine here. Will we come back? Yes… we both had a great time in spite of the short rib issue and we know they have more to offer.

We had the enchiladas and the carnitas entrees. Food was plentiful and tasty. For dessert we had the flan and carrot cake. The flan was the best I’ve ever had. You have to save room for this dessert. The only disappointment was the margaritas. We had a strawberry margarita and a lime margarita. Both had an artificial and overly sweet taste. Better suggestion might be the beer or wine.

Our first time. cocktails were excellent. Enjoyed our slow paced with starter of Calamari, Caesar Salad, signature corn dish and a medium rare Sirloin. Open dining area with glass enclosure, modern design and very contemporary.
