- JJazleenOrange County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe loved dining at The Marine Room! Perfect ambiance for a wedding anniversary dinner. My husband and I started with the Peruvian Crudo, which was flavorful and refreshing. Then for our main course we got the Tasmanian Ocean Trout and the Filet Mignon and Lobster tail. The trout was crispy, and laid in a very tasty sauce and it was so delicious! The filet mignon and lobster tail was also cooked to perfection! They gave us a cake slice to celebrate our anniversary which was nice. 1000/10 would recommend and we will be back.More infoThe Marine Room$$$$• Seafood• La Jolla•4.6

- HheatherLos Angeles •39 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOk - Buckle up. Let me begin by saying I have a high bar and I am not easy to please …. We celebrated our 35 th wedding anniversary last night. From the time we walked in until we left at least 10 people said happy anniversary and I felt like they meant it. It was our first time to the restaurant. The bread was delicious but as soon as I looked at the menu I knew - I could only have one piece. The menu was amazing and we took a long time trying to figure out what we wanted to order and the waitress was so nice and did not rush us. I love that we did not have to order our entire meal at the very beginning. But we did start with two shrimp cocktail, but only two because we are ordering a lot more. The shrimp was delicious and beautifully presented then we ordered the crab on top of tomato which again was delicious. There were so many choices that we wanted to order, but we tried to leave room for steak After that we ordered a wedge chop salad and we split it and the plate was ice cold but the bacon was warm and outstanding we were pretty much full by then, so we finished off with a 21 ounce bone in prime ribeye with a baked potato we were worried if we ordered it medium that it would come overdone because the plates were 500° but the waitress pointed out that the Chef accounted for that and the stake was perfect, perfectly cooked and tasted amazing The baked potato was absolutely delicious The service was outstanding and I am not easy to please. from the waiters to the people busing the tables to the manager that was worried that the party room next to us might be too loud and offered for us to change tables if we wanted to, but we didn’t . Everybody had a job and everybody was working very very hard. I have a new respect for work ethic, which I feel like many people don’t have these days however, at this restaurant, they’ve seem to reignite passion for work and pride in what you do. My Husband said to me at one point Michelin star? Bravo!More infoSteak 48 - Del Mar$$$$• Steakhouse• Del Mar•4.9
