    Our server, Dodd, was excellent. The food was excellent (goat cheese appetizer, g's house salad, short ribs, scallops, and mom's cheesecake). The wine was excellent (far niente post & beam chardonnay), and we had two complimentary glasses of house sparkling wine because it was our anniversary (also nice). All of the staff members were friendly and efficient. It was a quiet Tuesday night, but perfect for us.

    I fell in love with the Beverly Hills location while celebrating my birthday a few years ago, and ever since then, this has been my favorite restaurant. We were in town from DC for a wedding over the Fourth of July weekend, and even though our schedule was packed with activities, we couldn't leave without stopping here. We made a reservation for Monday at 5:00 PM, enjoyed an amazing dinner, and then drove seven hours home. It was absolutely worth it. We've also been to the Philadelphia location since it's the closest to DC, but the Charlotte location has been the most consistent when it comes to both the food and the service. Every visit has been exceptional. I truly wish there were a location in DC because I'd be there every week if I could! The drinks, appetizers, entrées, service, and ambiance are all top-tier. Every experience reminds me why this is my favorite restaurant, and I'm already planning my next trip back just to eat here again.
