    This was a wonderful experience. We go to Jeff Rubys once a year and always look forward to it. My food was perfect. (And I am VERY picky) I appreciate the bread service; that is something I always look forward to and too many high end restaurants are doing away with it. The bread at JR is perfection! My NYStrip was excellent as was the salad and baked potato. Our server was excellent and personable. Overall, all four of us had a memorable evening.

    My husband and I celebrated our 10-year wedding anniversary here, and we’re so glad we did. Everything was exceptional; from the atmosphere and curated menu tour to the drinks and outstanding service. Our evening celebrating our love couldn’t have been more enjoyable. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for amazing sushi. Easily a 5-star experience.

    This has been one of the best dining experiences i have ever had. 10/10. Let me recap. I went in for my 6:30 reservation for my birthday, greeted by Paige and another hostess. My partner and I were promptly seated in a reserved spot, my specific requests guaranteed upon arrival. Loved that! The thing I love about this spot is you get time to appreciate the ambiance and view (28 stories atop a hotel in downtown Columbus?! Dreamscape!) Our server Miguel came around 5 minutes after we were seated and gave us the space to order drinks, enjoy our time at our own pace, and made me feel so welcome. My partner and I decided to start with cocktails and take a tour of the menu, with a snack as an app, an entree, and dessert. I had the spicy tuna (some of *the best* I have ever had, no kidding). Main course was a fantastic and comforting donburi bowl, which was a perfect blend of sushi rice, bulgogi beef, and an egg yolk to tie it together. Every bite was honestly a journey into outer space, it was that good. Seeing it was my birthday, we had the surprise of a complimentary dessert. My partner and I shared the Good Fortune Cheesecake, and it is the definition of “campy fun dessert.” A gigantic fortune cookie topper with miso caramel drizzled cheesecake?!? Insane. And delicious. I really just want to thank Miguel again for making my 32nd birthday dinner one to remember. Normally I go to Molly Woo’s in Polaris for the atmosphere and charm. But now? Stories on High is where I will be celebrating moments big and small as long as I live in Columbus. You have a fantastic team of folks in the service industry here, and both times I’ve been here, I have experienced top notch service and suggestions from the staff that keep me coming back. Please keep doing what you’re doing. This is one of the best spots in Columbus!
