Best Thai Restaurants in Zion

We moved out of state but Big Bowl has become a regular stop on our visits back to see family and friends. We always order an "off menu" item-- salmon pad Thai. It features a huge piece of salmon on a generous bed of pad Thai. We have ordered this dish for years and it is consistently delicious and generous. Our recent visit once again lived up to our high expectations! We find the wait staff to be attentive and friendly, and the restaurant's bonus point/ birthday discount program is always a nice feature! This is one of our all time favorite restaurants!

My friends and I went to bites Asian kitchen and bar last night and everything was great except that it was very noisy. The food was delicious. The service was great and we really had a great time. I can’t wait to go back on a day when it’s not quite so busy.

Gumrai Thai in Arlington Heights was such a pleasant surprise. I am not usually the biggest fan of Thai food, but everything here was delicious and I would definitely come back. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao, Basil Fried Rice, Panang Curry, and Thai Iced Tea. Every dish was super flavorful and fresh. We asked for everything spicy and it actually had a real kick which I loved. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive and they checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. The service made the experience even better and the food came out hot and fast. The restaurant is clean and comfortable and it has a cozy neighborhood feel. Prices were reasonable and the portions were great. I highly recommend trying this spot if you are in the area or if you love Thai food or spicy food.
