Best Wine Bars in Lakewood / White Rock Lake

After two bad experiences in a row at another location, we tried the Dallas Uptown location (on Crescent Court). Wow! What a difference. We sat in the lounge/bar area and ordered from the happy hour menu. The four of us had cocktails and shared 6 different HH appetizers. It was all fantastic and our servers, Leah and John W could not have been better. The Capital Grille is a very ‘high end’ restaurant. A ‘high end’ experience should be expected by the customer and delivered by the staff. I’m happy to report the The Capital Grille Uptown Dallas location hit the mark at every level. We had a wonderful time there!

Once again, the food was indescribably delicious. You might complain that the servings are too large, but we took some home. Everyone from the front door until we leave as uniformly, pleasant and helpful. This continues to be one of our very favorite restaurant.

I'm in love with this place! I can't believe we just discovered it. The food was amazing!!! My husband said the bolognese was the best he has ever had - and he loves eating his way across Italy. My Caciao e Pepe pizza was delicious! Who knew that these two things could be combined to create a masterpiece? We loved the atmosphere. We sat inside during lunch -- the patio looked very inviting for our next meal here. Service was pleasant and wonderful. We've already decided we will be regulars~!!

Love Pie Tap but was trying to decide between it or another pizza place, Because they took reservations we chose it. When we got there they said we had gotten the last outside table and it was a bit wobbly so we might want an inside seat. We chose the outside wobbly table and were so happy to be outside on a beautiful day. The waiter came over to take drink orders and was so great about letting us order drinks then later a salad then our pizza at our own pace. We also got an appetizer at our own pace. Food and drinks were great! Patio was great! On a busy Friday night they took excellent care of us!
