    Happy 10th Anniversary!! We were honored to eat at Rovino on the anniversary night! Such a beautiful site with the restaurant packed, amazing appetizers of the arancini (saffron risotto balls way better than any we have ever had in Italy!), meatballs, and a caponata that is beyond words! Eggplant should never taste THAT good, but Chef Frank is MAGIC with it. The summer stone fruit panzanella salad is one of our repeat vices we can't get enough of. Then...we had the special. An enormous piece of perfectly cooked prochetta that melted in our mouths topped with sweet fresh cooked apricots over velvety polenta. OH M G!! This is a SPECIAL, so people, you need to get to Rovino this weekend and have this savory sweet dish that can bring tears to grown men! We love Rovino because of the food for sure, and we keep coming back because of the amazing team of Chef Frank and his beautiful wife Rose. They welcome us as if this is their own home--the true Italian way!

    We fully enjoyed our dinner at Vinarius. The service was friendly and attentive making us feel welcome immediately. We saw several repeat customers greeted with handshakes and hugs. We shared the Barrata Caprese and Caesar to start and had the Oso bucco, a Sea Bass special and their traditional lasagna. All very good. Dessert of tiramisu and chocolate mousse also delicious!

    Our 42nd anniversary fell on a Tuesday… so off to Flemings we go for Tomahawk Tuesday! Great reception up front, set an “anniversary table” for us and treated us like royalty all evening. Salads were wonderful, the tomahawk cooked perfectly medium rare and since it was our anniversary we ordered the lobster tail as well. Excellent food, first class service. Fleming’s never disappoints.
