Went to watch Drag Race with the kickball team and it was so fun! The food and drinks were great, service was great, the drag queen that hosted it Harlow Havic was hilarious! Just a fun night!

This tiny little gem of a place was recommended by my sister who “happened upon it” 2 years ago and loved it! We made a reservation for our group of 5 (6 is probably the max you would want to bring in), and enjoyed every dish (we all tried something different) and a delicious Chianti…our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu…and we moved on down to Modern Bakery afterwards for Boston’s Best Cannolis (vs the more well known Mike’s across the street!)! I highly recommend Cafe Amaro (which I will be sure to stay for dessert next time to try their tiramisu)!

Excellent choice, off the beaten path of crazy Hanover street. Restaurant is small, intimate, great ambiance. Our waiter was extremely talented, first rate service, knowledgeable of menu and specials. Everyone got what they wanted, everything was fresh. The chef came out mid meal to check on us and introduced the bus boy who stopped what he was doing to serenade the dinning room not once but twice. Ir was an exceptional bonus. I would recommend and definitely going back when in the North End.
