Zitz Sum is a 30 seat seasonal restaurant located inside of an historic building in Coral Gables, Florida. Our story, is a story of resilience, passion & commitment, that is translated in a plate of food, excellent service and unapologetic gracious hospitality. Our current menu is an autobiographical journey reflecting Chef’s experiences and our affinity for Japanese ingredients and technique.

We currently offer A la carte menu that changes with the seasons, and a Seven Course Tasting Menu that changes weekly. Our tasting menu consists of playful snacks and bites to get the night going, and an array of our signature and favorite current dishes. Part of the tasting menu is presented in a family style format conducive for sharing and celebrating.

Zitz Sum is recipient of a 2022, 2023 & 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Award, a 2022 James Beard Foundation Semifinalist for Best New Restaurant and a New York Times 2022 Best 50 Restaurants in America.

We loved Manny's from the moment we stepped in and smelled the wood fired grill. The steaks and lamb chops were grilled to perfection, the bottle of Malbec was paired perfectly, and the service we received was top notch. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Doral.

The staff is welcoming and hospitable, and are sure to make you feel like a regular even as a first time guest. Chef Constantino Cadavid has been at the helm of Cafe Avanti for over 21 years. It's reputation for consistency is like no other. From veal meatballs and tuna tartare, to osso bucco and frutta di mare, every dish is absolutely decadent. Desserts are homemade & the ricotta cheesecake is the best you will ever have. Parking is easy and meters are turned off at 6pm. Whether you sit at the bar, cozy brick room, a romantic table by the window, or have a large party, Cafe Avanti will provide you with the perfect experience that you are looking for.

First off the food is on par or better than the best Italian establishments throughout. The Vittello Piccata is the best I’ve ever eaten. Let alone these prices are the same as 10 years ago! A definite must !

Executive Chef Byron Alabado and Executive Sushi Chef Shoyo Iida craft meticulous sushi, fire-cooked street skewers, inventive small plates and large entrees, plus fresh raw bar, ceviches & tiraditos that echo the authenticity of Japan, The Philippines, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Israel and The West Indies.

A 360 degree bar features fresh handcrafted Bichi cocktails, premium Japanese sake, wonderful wines and Champagnes, and an international beer selection. Guests are greeted by a ceremonial Japanese torii gate - after passing through, the ordinary world is left behind, symbolically marking the transition from the mundane to the sacred.

We are an outdoor Restaurant. Sushi Bichi reservation bookings are subject to weather conditions. Most of the restaurant is not under cover.

Excellent service from seating to eating. Octopus, tuna tartare, red snapper and brazino were fresh, well prepared and presented. Fresh salad was very tasty. I loved the fresh lemonade.

Everything was delicious. Very small portions. Weak and overpriced wine list, and they substituted a lesser wine at the same cost due to being out. Lovely staff.
