The pork belly and mushroom soup was delicious as well as the marinated crab claws appetizer. We both ordered off the fixed price lunch menu and was not disappointed. One was beef kabobs and mine was pompano tips over grits and Tasso sauce. Both came with salads, green beans and desert. I would say the ooey gooey desert with vanilla ice cream was my only let down (way too sweet and soupy texture - my wife makes ooey gooey and it's not like this).

We are allowing 2 hours dining time per table, so we cannot hold tables for parties that are late. There will be a 15 minute grace period allowed and then the table will be released. Please keep in mind that lounge and patio seating is also by reservation only.

Tavi is an Israeli restaurant serving made-to-order pita from a wood-fired oven, elaborately finished hummus plates, and small and large plates drawing from the same modern Israeli inspiration as its sister restaurant, Shaya. The name Tavi is inspired by the Hebrew word meaning “good or beloved” and that’s what Tavi aims to deliver to the Covington community. We love Tavi! The food is absolutely delicious! But disappointed to see how they have stacked more tables inside and separated four tops into two tops to get more seating. The two tables on either side of us were less than 10 inches away and it felt like I was on a triple date with a bunch of strangers and couldn’t have a conversation with my husband because they were so incredibly close to us.
