   The food at Dos Caminos was good as always but service was a little slack, as silverware had to be requested for every course and despite a reservation, only one table was available that was below what felt like a blast chiller. We are unfortunately not likely to return soon.

   This food was just plain bad. We split the nachos. I have no idea what kind of cheese it was, but it was not not good. My chopped Mexican salad had green olives in it, which does not pair well with a Chipotle lime dressing. During my two week, vacation, this was by far the worst meal I ate.

   We had a wonderful time at lunch. Our server was very attentive and helpful and we enjoyed the service. The margaritas were great, we loved it. The food portions were a bit small but enjoyable overall the menu prices were a bit high specially for appetizers, etc. I guess it’s time square so you know it is what it is but we had a good time.

   Our waiter was horrible at 5pm (not a crazy time) waited 20 minutes after getting sat to get water after asking the manager for help. Another 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and order being taken by the manager. Waitress didn’t even acknowledge us just brought us our drinks. Food was mediocre and rice was hard.     We were seated promptly and had only a short wait for the server to greet us. The seasonal margarita was tasty and both of us enjoyed our entrees. We needed a place close to the theater to dine before returning to the airport. The food was good and the food was served more quickly then we expected. All in all a very nice experience.

    The restaurant was over crowded and over booked. It was very warm in the restaurant and only worst in the basement where we were seated. The noise level was deafening. Food arrived almost cold and was tasteless. Avoid at all cost!

    Sat downstairs. Service was good. Food was excellent. Went on a Saturday at noon. We had brunch. Came with a drink and coffee $17. We had Mexican French toast and burrito. Couldn’t eat it all.

    This chain restaurant is reliable. The ambiance is nice, the service is good and the food is good, but this is not an authentic Mexican restaurant, but is still enjoyable and good.

    Service was incredibly slow even though the restaurant was empty. They didn’t ask us about splitting our checks. Then at the end of the meal they refused to spit them. We were in a group where we needed individual checks for business purposes. The manager finally agreed but was extremely rude. It ruined the entire experience.

    We had a phenomenal waiter - Marlon. He was attentive and kind. When our main meal came out we were missing a few items and the food was bad (fajitas). We spoke to Marlon who spoke to his manager. His manager, Juan, came up with an excuse for our gross fajitas and rice and never spoke to us or apologized. Juan gave $6 off a $35 inedible meal. Juan should not be the manager if he cannot empathize with customers. Long story short, $35 on fajitas we didn’t eat. And we will not return.

    My wife found a piece of the molcajete bowl (essentially a rock) the size of a pea in her guacamole by biting down hard on it. When I reported this to the waitress, she debated with me and told me it was part of the avocado. When I dropped the rock on a plate and it made a CLANK she finally believed me. She didn’t seem to care much though. No manager came over. They didn’t charge us for the guacamole (but that wasn’t the point). And I’m sure the bowl went back into service immediately. Aside from that, it was just alright. Tacos were fine. Service sucked. Ambiance was kitschy. There’s many better places in NYC.
