Eddie V’s in Dallas in my favorite fine dining experience. It is beautiful, perfect noise level, and Harmony our waitress was outstanding! This is the first time I ordered a steak at Eddie V’s and it was beyond delicious. My steak would rivaled any you would order at a well known Dallas steakhouse, including their neighbor establishment. Thank you again to Eddie V’s for a wonderful evening.
The food and service were EXCELLENT. We got a recommendation on dessert and they even sent over extra. Great experience, we will be back.
Eddie V's was absolutely great. The best restaurant I've ever been to I like my steak medium well and it was cooked perfectly the first time. My kids loved the atmosphere as well. Live band that they had was absolutely wonderful we had such a good time everything was awesome Wyatt was our server and he was great love him........ Thanks will be back really soon.... Worth every dollar I spent.
Fantastic as always! Best service ever!
We have an amazing and warm experience from the time we walked into the doors.
Met a former co-worker for shrimp cocktail, crab cake and oysters. Absolutely delightful evening with good service and top notch food. Highly recommend the Patz & Hall Pinot Noir as a fruit forward light red for those of us who prefer red over white wine even if having seafood.
Food and service was stellar! Would definitely go back again!!
Incredible service from the hostess station to our waiter Victor and the manager. Everyone was attentive. We were able to take our time and enjoy the entire experience. Victor’s menu suggestions were spot on. We will adding Eddie V’s to our fine dining list of favorites. And will be requesting Victor for our future reservations.
Had sour old oysters that were pungent! Next set were full of sand and shell pieces. Crab cake was dry. Caesar salad was even messed up!
The service was so amazing and the manager and the hostess were so accommodating for my birthday dinner! The waiters were amazing as well and I love the rose petals and the personalize card from the staff for my bday! The food portions are really great and generous, I feel like the food was a solid 4 star, I expected 5 but I'm an extreme foodie! :))
Over all pretty good. Steak was over cooked, not medium and burnt on the outside.
Welcomed a guest from Raleigh! She loved the Filet Mignon Scampi! Stephen was incredible and offered the finest service we have ever received!
I had Norwegian salmon, but I have never seen that small spinach that comes with it.
A bit salty as well. The whole atmosphere was great. Very elegant place. The amount of money that you pay the food is not proportional.
Every person we encountered made a personal statement to my husband regarding his birthday, including calling him by name. He was beyond impressed and I am very appreciative.
This place is amazing! Food is awesome and service is stellar...I will definitely be returning as often as I can.
Once again, the food, service, and music was a home-run! This is our third visit, and we're definitely going to add Eddie V's to our "hot" list of places to go frequently. I especially appreciated the staff accommodating us with our table request - we are both musicians and wanted to sit close to the band. Thanks!
The service was impeccable. It was our first time and we were celebrating my husband's birthday. No less than 4 different staff checked on us, gave us recommendations and made it a memorable experience. The cocktails were creative. They had a signed birthday card at our table and treated us like royalty.
Awe we’re blessed with a very great waiter! Stephen’s persona and demeanor was nothing short of amazing. The service he provided most people ‘expect’ but my husband and I very much appreciated it. The food was amazing and cooked to perfection .The house wine and champagne and food was well priced. We plan to have another ‘date night’ there soon!
Really enjoyed our dinner at Eddie V‘s. Had the crabcake which was much larger than I was expecting and very delicious! Enjoyed the Fiji apple salad, with the fabulous dressing! And, absolutely loved the Hong Kong style Seabass!! Fabulous dinner, and great wait staff!!
My best friend and I really enjoyed our meals and the maverick drink was delicious!!! Great service overall.
My wife and I had a wonderful time for our 12 year wedding anniversary. Ready for another dinner date.
The special of the night (sea bass with scallops) was disappointing in that the scallops were very salty and overcooked. The side dishes we ordered were brought out first way in advance of the main course. Our waiter took them back and brought them out when the main entrees were served. I have eaten here before and had a great meal but this was a major letdown. I don’t know if I’ll return after this. When one is paying a lot of money for a meal and you want your guests to enjoy it also, it should be better than this. Sorry for the negative review but perhaps it will help make things better.
We were celebrating my wife Gwen's birthday, everything was excellent! Our waiter Stephen was outstanding, polite, friendly, and very courteous!!!
Food ,service, and atmosphere was awesome I READ several reviews before I chose this spot to celebrate my 9yr anniversary All reviews said exactly what I experienced Victor was so passionate about his job he even sold my husband on his dinner chose and he's a hard guy to please when it comes to good ratting he deceived he items in such great detail you had to go with it because you where excited by Victors description. Hormoney was so sweet and patient with us going over the menu and making sure we had what we needed. They even had the table decorated with rose patties and the staff signed a card wishing us a happy anniversary everyone from the time we hit the doors smiles and wished us a happy anniversary. My husband and I agreed to make Eddie V's our go to spot whenever we are visiting Dallas.
Arguably the best seafood in Dallas. My wife, son, and I had dinner, and everything was stellar. Ahi tuna tartare was fresh and beautifully presented. East coast oysters were perfectly fresh and presented. Entrees were all near perfect - branzino, sea bass, and gulf snapper. Lobster mashed potatoes were a decadent but delicious side, and the brussels sprouts were similarly good. Cocktails and wine were excellent as well. Perfect service. Beautiful place. Can't recommend it enough.
Just a lovely experience. We will be back. Excellent food. Perfect friendly service.
Great atmosphere, great food, great music for great friends!
Had a great time! Food was amazing
The first time we came to Eddie Vs was for my birthday. We had some friends visiting in town from out of state as well. Our servers were amazing, conversational and made sure everything was perfect! They gave us a champagne toast and at the end of the meal brought us a birthday dessert and a “get home safe” dessert for our friends. It’s was way above and beyond.
This past time we decided to come for my boyfriends birthday since was had such a great experience the first time. Our waiter acknowledged his birthday but that was about it. He did not engage with us and in the end he didn’t bring a birthday dessert to the table either. Very disappointing after the above and beyond service we got the first time. I guess it’s just luck of the draw
What an incredible meal! That Kung Pao calamari was outstanding and the ribeye was cooked to a beautiful medium rare. But that Bananas Foster was our favorite!
Great dinner, awesome , tender steak. Can’t wait to go back
Eddie V's is my favorite Restaurant in Dallas!!! Everytime I am there, the Customer Service is Excellent and the Food is even Better!
Can't Wait to go the next time!

really enjoyed my experience at Eddie V's the food was awesome a little pricey but worth it , the waiter James was wonderful he was very knowledgeable about the food , gave us great suggestions that were awesome.
Amazing experience! We hadn’t been to Eddie Vs in a couple years and decided it was time to go back. Boy, am I happy we did! It was incredible. The food was so delicious, our waiter was fantastic and we sat in the bar and listened to the most beautiful singer! We will definitely be back soon.
Wonderful Birthday dinner. Attentive staff and great service! Never needed to look for him, he was right on top of drinks, orders- perfect timing. Manager even brought extra appetizer as a Birthday treat.
Good but not excellent service, but the waiter made up for that with his outgoing personality. I have celiac disease and informed the wait staff and marked it on my Open Table reservation, but still got very sick even though we only ordered oysters on the half shell, tuna tartare, steak tartare and ice cream and berries. The dishes were supposed to be made without soy sauce or gluten containing ingredients. I don’t know what happened, but it was disappointing to wake up sick the day after my birthday dinner.
We had Miles for the night. He was a very personable guy with great menu knowledge. He answered all of our questions and helped us pick the right items for us. Everything we got between the crab cake and 24 karat were amazing. Thank you for a great date night!
Miles is great server
About 50 percent of our dinner was really good. I have seen this happen with upscale restaurants during the week. I think it is because there is so much business dinner traffic. The restaurant gets a little too complacent knowing that the customers being entertained typically will not complain because they don't want to embarrass their host or hostess. My sea bass was really "fishy", but edible. However, the scallops were great! And the salads were stellar too. But the gnocchi was pasty and underdone. It stuck to the roof of our mouths and didn't include the fresh vegetables as described on the menu. So, at this time, with a dinner for 2 coming in at $160.00 (including the tip), the food was disappointing. It should not have been too much to expect fresh sea bass at a seafood restaurant.....and a side dish as described on the menu.
There are not enough superlatives for this restaurant. Everyone from the valet guys to the manager are always so friendly. Then, there is James....the best server anywhere. You have to try the crab cakes! The entrees were swordfish (plate was licked clean), chilean sea bass (outstanding) and ribeye (grilled to absolute perfection). This is our favorite place. Really, it is 10 Stars!
