   Outstanding experience from start to finish! This was our first time dining at Eddie V’s and our server, Collin, fully explained the menu and told us the best selections. His timing was perfect and we never waited for anything. The food was delicious and cooked perfectly! You could tell that this restaurant has a top notch management team and is very customer centric! Highly recommended if you’re in the Tampa area!

   When we first got there we were told we didn’t have a reservation till 10pm. Even though I made this reservation weeks ago, and even confirmed on open table for 7:45. The hostess wasn’t very soft with her delivery or explanation. I got very frustrated. Then a young host came to help, he was a lot more help. He explained that sometimes OpenTable and their system doesn’t communicate. Which I mean I find that very odd considering that’s the platform their restaurant uses on a constant basis. We got a table not too late from our reservation, which was very nice. The only table they had was right next to the band, and I could hardly my husband during the whole dinner (until band took a break, and we loved that). Besides all of that….. Honestly our dinner couldn’t have been better! Our waiter Rome was EXCEPTIONAL, and made our experience phenomenal. If it hadn’t been for him I wouldn’t have enjoyed my dinner so much after the mishap/loud atmosphere from the beginning. He was beyond accommodating, friendly, timely, and I could go on. I haven’t had great service like that in a very long time. I definitely would come back, and request him.

   This was our first time and we all were pleasantly pleased. Our servers Alesha at the bar and Emily at our table we’re very professional, kind, welcoming and went above and beyond with their service! Outstanding experience.

    It was okay. I’ve had better drinks. Food was okay nothing spectacular. Tried crab cakes, crab stuffed shrimp with crab fried rice and for desert tried the banana on fire - not impressive but the effort was appreciated. Service was okay. Had to remind our server three times to bring butter for our bread. Clean table settings. Bathroom was dirty and messy. Noise level was a bit too loud to have normal conversation because ppl were trying to speak and conversarte over the music. Music was real good.

    Our booth was uncomfortably cold w/ vent blowing directly on us despite wearing a jacket. Our server was AMAZING; worked on adjusting air and even found an extra wrap for me. The food was average and even less overwhelming d/t pricing. At price point we would anticipate menu to be really good or excellent. Bananas Foster Dessert was enjoyable but not enough to make up for the appetizer, salad, entree, side items. I really wanted to like Eddie V’s 😞

    Had a reservation for 7:30 and wasn’t seated till 8:15 on a Monday night. Not sure what the point of a reservation was. After the service was less that stellar. Took 15 minutes to get drinks. Got 1 refill through and hour and half dinner. Was very disappointed based on the price. The food was good but nothing special. I had the scallops which were fine but not something I would order again. Overall a big let down. Would not recommend going there are better places for less money.

    Have never had a bad experience until last night. My steak was to be Medium well and it came out rare. manager took it back and put back on grill and charred the heck out of it till it was shoe leather. Also, we ordered lobster mashed potatoes and they came with soup sauce on them and cheese. The menu said nothing about cheese. To top it all off... had to ask our waitress to take the wine glasses off the table for steakknives and more. ... and she way wayyy less than the friendly service we are used to. Will always request our go to server Rickie for future. he is so nice and always makes it an enjoyable experience. missed him last night thats for sure!!!

    Food was fantastic. One steak came out a little cold and it was rectified immediately! Only real issue was that we had a reservation for 6 at 8:15pm and didn’t get sat until 9:30. The delay wasn’t explained at all and ultimately we were put at a bar table. Not great! We will be back, but have to manage my expectations about being sat on reservation time!

    It was my cousin’s birthday. We had a great table (located next to the band 😍). The table was tastefully decorated and they even had a birthday card waiting for my cousin! We all had a great time, great food, and the band played and sang happy birthday to my cousin. Our servers were Robert & Gustavo. The band was fabulous!! Everything went perfectly, Thank you!

    My Husband and I come there for every special occasion. We celebrated our 4 year wedding anniversary tonight. Rome took amazing care of us as usual. We always request him. The support staff was also amazing, never wanting for a single thing.

    Amazing food, service and hospitality! We celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary here and sat at the bar to enjoy the jazz- which we absolutely LOVE! Sadly a group of loud and obnoxious people sat beside us and hijacked our night as they screamed the entire time -over the music. We shifted over and they made a comment to us about, " not liking the loud talking." (No, we actually didn't enjoy it at all). They were just elevating it to make it worse. However, our server Ashley was super attentive- wished us a happy anniversary several times through the night and made it a good experience for us. We will be back, for sure!
