We've eaten at this restaurant several times and enjoy the food mostly. The cilantro soup is amazing and one of the reasons we return time and again. This last occasion we were a table of 4 and my companions all enjoyed their food. Their menu items were the peppercorn trout, the short ribs, and jumbo shrimp pasta. We also shared the stuffed poblano peppers appetizer which was delicious. I had the special appetizer as my main course, the crabcake over a portabello mushroom and topped with salad. It was disappointing as it was dry and not very tasty. On a previous occasion I also was disappointed with the stuffed filet mignon. I wouldn't order those items again but I will return to this restaurant as I've had several enjoyable meals and their menu is not typical of what you would normally find on a Mexican restaurant menu.

We love coming here. The bean soup is better than sunshine on a cloudy day! The menu is innovative and everything we tried was superb. We have been coming for years and look forward to dining here each time we are back in Florida. The service is impeccable. The only reason I rated the noise level high was because when we dined last time there was a patron who was practically loud during the whole dinner and was seated next to us. Normally the noise level is just fine.

This is a 5 star restaurant!

Service was attentive but unknowledgeable. The waiters, although very pleasant, looked like they were still in high school. Several questions I had caused the waiter to return to the kitchen for an answer. I also asked for a club soda with lime. The waiter returned to inform me that they did not have club soda or limes. Really? A Mexican restaurant with no limes? How did they make the guacamole I ordered (which was very good)? He also forgot to bring bread to the table. I ordered bacon wrapped filet mignon. It was tough, undercooked and wrapped with a strip of greasy undercooked fat. I doubt it was Prime steak. The various sauces were good ie; tomatillo, salsa verde and mole. I should have sent it back but I did't want my guest to feel uncomfortable eating alone. Besides...if you have had the restaurant for 30 years you shouldn't be letting food like I got out of the kitchen. Aside from 3 or 4 sauces, Eduardo de San Angel is nothing special.

The restaurant was artistically decorated with a fountain behind our table, flowers and cherub statues on the wall. The waiter was very attentive. We ordered the cilantro soup based on previous reviews. It was great. We also enjoyed the black bean ravioli and the special grilled mahi-mahi. Overall, it’s a great place for a date.

I have visited this outstanding restaurant several years ago. When I returned to ft lauderdale I knew I had to eat here again because it is one of the best restaurants I have eaten at in my worldly travels. The service was outstanding as was the different courses. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Worth the drive! We don't live near Eduardo de San Angel but it is worth the drive! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the food has always been superb. The wines are fairly priced. They had a special going on with various special Mexican tapas/appetizers which we took advantage of and enjoyed! Going to this restaurant is always a treat!

The food was creative and beautifully presented, The service was exceptional. I had not been at this restaurant for many years since we moved many miles away. It was certainly worth the wait and we will return in the future. The only problem was at the entrance there is a capoy which is quite low and I banged my head when walking in. I am 6'6'and this was closer to 6'.The staff let it slide.

This is by far the best restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! As a foodie you will enjoy the exceptional blends of taste and herbs with local fish. The steak is remarkable and the ravioli stuffed with black bean sauce will make you go back again and again...oh an the deserts...heaven on a plate! Eduardo is extending the Crave menu for the month of October...walk, run or fly to get a seat!

Not as good as I remembered it. The lamb was pale outside and not grilled enough. In fact it looked broiled instead. The pepper fish was on the dry side. I don’t think we will be going back. Something has changed.

We went to try their Crave menu for the month of September. The bread and corn bread they serve is so warm and fresh right out of the oven so good! The appetizers were good but nothing great. We had the eggplant appetizer and what seemed like a taco with pork and carnitas. Then we had the beef tenderloin tips which were excellent and to finish off our dinner we had the decadent chocolate marquise with a shot of rumchata that was also very good. The place is very romantic and intimate and the service was great
